<br />OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED
<br />December.3, 1968

<br />Present: President Pro Tem Virginia Hodgins, Councilmen Caster, Eian,
<br />Limpert, Mitler, West.
<br />Also Present: Mayor Ralph E. Christman, Service Director Charles Watts,
<br />Finance Director William L. Gerlach, Acting City Engineer
<br />Michael Karhan, Law Director J. Bruce Kstchen, Clerk of Council
<br />Florence Holm.
<br />Absent: President of Council Francis J. 0'Neill and Councilman Prokasy.
<br />Minutes of November 19th Council Meeting approved as read.
<br />Mayor Christman said Fire Department has received new fire truck equipment.
<br />It will be in operating order by end of December.
<br />Mr. West, Chairman of the Finance Committee, requested this committee meet,
<br />with as many Council members as possible, on December 12th, at 8:00 p.m.
<br />One imperative item on agenda will be salaries for 1970 elected officials.
<br />Mrs. Hodgins, Chairman of Liquor Control Committee, said this committee
<br />would meet December 4th, at 8:00 p.m.
<br />There were no requests from audience to address Council.
<br />Ordinance No. 68-155, which had been introduced by Mr. West, was given its
<br />third reading. An Ordinance adopting an organizational chart for the Admin-
<br />istration to be headed by the Mayor as provided for in Article III, Section 1
<br />through 5, inclusive, of the Charter of the City of North Olmstpd and in addi-
<br />tion thereto providing positions for employees of this Department, and declar-
<br />ing an emergency. Mr. West then moved for adoption of Ordinance, seconded by
<br />Mr. Caster. Affirmative vote Caster, Eian, Hodgins, Limpert, Miller, West<
<br />Ordinance No. 68-188, which had been introduced by Mr. Caster, was given its
<br />third reading. An Ordinance accepting for dedication Sweetbriar Drive, from
<br />Winton Park Drive 1,256 feet east, Limpert Lane, Bristol Lane, KingSton Circ)e
<br />to its terminus in a cul-de-sac, Winton Park Drive, Darby Lane, Chapel Hill,
<br />Fairfax Lane, Sudbury Drive, Park Place, Waterbury Circle to its terminus in
<br />a cul-de-sac, in Sandy Ridge Subdivision No. 2. Mr. Caster then moved for
<br />adoption of Ordinance, seconded by Mr. West. Affirmative vote Caster, Eian,
<br />Hodgins, Limpert, Miller, West.
<br />Ordinance No. 68-189, which had been introduced by Mr. Caster, was given its
<br />third reading. An Ordinance accepting for dedication Leenders Lane, from the
<br />centerline of Williamstown Drive, 635 feet east where it joins the section of
<br />Leenders Lane already dedicated in Subdivision No. 1, Ashbury Park Drive,
<br />Williamstown Drive, Hyannis Port Drive, in Sandy Ridge Subdivision No. 3.
<br />Mr. Caster then moved for adoption of Ordinance, seconded by Mr. E+an. Affirma-
<br />tive vote Caster, Eian,Hodgins, Limpert, Miller, West.
