<br />forth the Cuvil Service Commission of the City of North Olmsted as es-
<br />tabloshed by and set forth in Artecle VI, Section S through 7 inclusive,
<br />of the Chartee of the City of North Olmsted, setting forth the membership
<br />of the Csvol Servece Commission according to the Chaater, setting forth
<br />the compensation to be pasd the Secretary to the Cuvul Service Commissaon,
<br />ana declarong an emergency. Mr. West then moveu fo- suspensoon of the

<br />Ordonance No. 68-188 was introduced by Mr. Caster and given its first
<br />reading. An Ordinance acceptmng for dedication Sweetbriar Drive, from
<br />Winton Park Drave 1,256 feet east, Limpert Lane, Bristol Lane, Kingston
<br />Circle to its term'snus in a cul-de-sac, Winton Park Driue, Darby Lane,
<br />Chapel Hill, Fairfax Lane, Sudbury Drive, Park Place, Waterbury Circle
<br />to its terminus in a cul-de-sac, in Sandy Ridge Subdivision No. 2,
<br />Ordinance No. 68-189 was introduced by Mr. Caster and given its first
<br />reading, An Ordinance accepting for dedication Leenders Lane, from the
<br />center line of Williamstown Drive, 635 feet east where it joins the
<br />section of Leenders Lane already dedicated in Subdivision No. 1, Ashbury
<br />Park Drive, Wolliamstown Drive, Hyannis Port Drsve, in Sandy Ridge Sub-
<br />division No, 30
<br />The Mayor introduced Mr. Ray Carnahan, who he is going to appoint as
<br />his Administrative Assistant. Mr, Carnahan has industrial engineering
<br />and plant management background<
<br />M-e Caster commended the Equalization Assessment Board of James Davis,
<br />Don Ledvina and Fred Biszantz for the expedious and excellent work in
<br />their Equalization Board Report which we accepted at this meeting, and
<br />requested Clerk write them a letter expressing Council's appreciationo
<br />Under old busaness, Mr. West asked the Acting City Engineer Karhan to
<br />put into a letter just what Engoglia Subdivision needs to accomplish
<br />before dedicateon is possibte.
<br />Mr. 0'Neill checked over with Mayor Christman what has been done regarding
<br />complatnt recesved in letter from Mr. Karl Burdach and neighbors.
<br />Under new busGness, Mr. Caster requested legislateon on Bretton Ridge 1, 2,
<br />3 and 4e
<br />Mra Eian requested legislation be prepared giving our objection to gun con-
<br />trol laws, stating Council opposes gun control but is anxious to enforce
<br />stiff and mandatory penalties for illegal use of firearms. Legislation also
<br />requested for prevention of glue sniffing, and a curfew ordinance.
<br />Mre Maller moved meeting be adjourned, Mrso Hodgens seconded motion. "Yeas"
