The Committee has a proposed glue sniffing ordinance to studye <br />This Committee has received a letter from the Planning Commission, stating that <br />plans should be approved regarding fire protection before passage. A lettex <br />is to be sent to Planning Commission saying this is done at present time. <br />It has been suggested that fire hydrants for new commercial buildings be on <br />the same side of the street. Letter is to be directed to Building Commissianer <br />Gundy requesting that this be considered. The following recommendations have <br />been made by committ_eeo "No left-turn" sign on Butternut Ridge Rd. from Dover; <br />"right-turn on red with caution" at Columbia-Cedar Point Roads; "no through <br />trucks" sign on Dover, Porter and Barton Roads. They discussed the possibilNty <br />of a curfew ordinance but this needs further study. Also gun control law was <br />discussed. They will take this up further for study and discussion. HelicoptGr- <br />control or standards was again reviewed. Suggestion was made that Clerk writ;e <br />surrounding communities for sample ordinances; also, that this matter might wetl <br />be discussed in the Mayors' Associationy with possibility of agreeing on stand- <br />ards among cities. Air pollution was cliscussed.
