<br />Ordinance No. 68-133 was introduced by Mr. West. An Ordinance establish-
<br />ing the organization and composition of the Police Department of the City
<br />Qf North Olmsted; establishing salaries of the members of the Police
<br />Department while on duty for the City of North Olmsted; establishing the
<br />per diem allowance to be gaid to the Police employees while attending
<br />Frs3ice School and repealing Ordinance No. 68-60, and declaring an emer-
<br />gency. Mr. West moved for suspension of the rule requiring three separate
<br />readings, seconded by Mr. Limpert. Affirmative vote was Caster, Eian,
<br />Hodgins, Limpert, Miller, Prokasy, West. Mr. West then moved for adoption
<br />seconded by Mr. Limpert. Affirmative vote was Caster, Eian, Hodgins,
<br />Limpert, Miller, Prokasy, West.
<br />Ordinance No. 68-134 was introduced by Mr. West. An Ordinance establish-
<br />ing the Organizational Chart of the Fire Department setting forth the
<br />complement of the Fire Department and establishing the salaries of the
<br />members of the Fire Department while on duty for the City of North Olmsted
<br />and repealing Ordinance No. 68-41, and declaring an emergency. Mr. West
<br />moved for suspension of the rule requiring three separate readings,
<br />seconded by Mr. Limpert. Affirmative vote was Caster, Eian, Hodgins,
<br />Limpert, Miller, Prokasy, West. raMr. West then moved for adoption,
<br />seconded by Mr. Limpert. Affirmative vote was Caster, Eian, Hodgins,
<br />Limpert, Miller, Prokasy, West.
<br />Mr. West requested that legislation be prepared extending longevity
<br />benefits to employees of the Building Department and the Bus Line,
<br />not, however, to include fema,le help.
<br />Mr. Caster requested that legislation be prepared reducing the sidewalk
<br />bond on Treelane Subdivision #2 from $20,000 to $2,000 as recoffiended
<br />by the Engineering Department.
<br />Mr. West requested that legislation be preapred authorizing the Mayor
<br />to enter into a contract with a landscape architect for recreational
<br />facilities for the City of North Olmsted.
<br />Mr. West requested that legislation be pre$pred authorizing the HieTv#ce
<br />Director to advertise for bids for new automstic transmission- for the
<br />Service Department.
<br />Various members of Council expressed their regret that Del Limpert was
<br />leaving as Safety-Service Director, and commended his work for the City
<br />during his employment,
<br />Mr. Miller moved that the meeting be adjourned, seconded by??Mr. West.
