An Ordinance authorizing <br />the Mayor to enter into an option and purchase agreement weth the Natioraal <br />City Bank of Cleveland Trustees for the purchase of real property in the <br />City of North Olmsted, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Caster moved foo° <br />the suspensson of the rule requiring three readings, seconded by Mr. Pe-om <br />kasy. Caster then moved for adoption of the ordinance, seconded by Mr. Pra- <br />kasye Affirmative vote Caster, Hodgins, Limpert, Millery Prokasy, West. <br />Urader old business, Mr. Dewey Lirnpert asked Mr. Dutton about the drasnage <br />problem on the Bower property on Dover Road, requesting Me°. Dutton to check <br />thas out. <br />Mr. Dewey Limpert brought up subject of letter from Safety-Servece Director <br />in regard to demolition of building at 27422 Lorain Avenue. This property <br />has been dsscussed in the Safety, Health and Welfare Committee. He is now <br />requesting the Law Director to draw up necessary legislation, <br />Mrs. Hodgins mentioned letter from Safety-Service Director Limpert of Febru- <br />ary 26th regarding street lights on Great Northern Boulevard. Mr. 0'Neill <br />asked Mr. West to consider this request. <br />The waste disposal study problem was discussed. Mrs. Hodgins said we have <br />had replees from the surrounding communities, but so far not enough to war- <br />rant further negotiations. However, we will be writing further letters to <br />other communities, and will have a meeting as soon as we have enough interest <br />en this type of waste disposal. <br />hlr. Caster requested assessing legislation for paving portion of Great Northern; <br />assessing legislation for Sherwood Culvert, and sewer and paving assessment leg- <br />islataon for Birch Lane Sub-division and Birch School. He also requested leg- <br />islation releasing bond for sidewalks for Candlelight Sub-division. <br />Mr. Caster mentioned receiving copy of letter from City Engineer Dutton to <br />Safety-Service Director Limpert regarding resurfacing of Lorain Road. He <br />has suggested to Mr. Limpert that we investigate the possibility of tearing <br />out a portion of Lorain Road, in vicinity of Canterbury to Dover, curb lane, <br />below cobblestone; atso possibly other corners before black-topping areas. <br />°fhis was done in the Porter Road, Butternut and Lorain corner area. Mr. <br />Prokasy thought this idea should be pursued also. <br />Mr. Caster mentioned that at the last Municipal Development Committee meeting <br />the storm sewer report from Floyd-Browne had been submitted, and requested <br />that if it is in good enough shape, he would like to have it distributed now, <br />and, if necessary, corrected later. <br />Mre West moved that the absence of Mr. Eian be excused, seconded by Mr. <br />Lompert.
