<br />the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids tor electric street
<br />lighting service for the City of North Olmsted, and deelaring an emergency.
<br />Mr. West moved for suspension of the rule requiriny threP readings, ses-

<br />Limpert, Mangani, West. Mr. West then moved for adoption, seconded by
<br />Mr. Limpert. Affirmative vote was Caster, Eian, Foltz, Hodgins, !impert„
<br />Mangani and Wesc.
<br />Ordinance No. 67-252 Was introduced by Mrs. Hodgins. An Qrdinance authos-•n
<br />izing the Mayor to execute a contract with the General Health District of
<br />Cuyahuya County ror the Year 1968, and declaring an emergency. Mrs. Hodgirs
<br />maved fur suspension of the rule requiring three reading;, seconded by Mrr

<br />Under old busines, Mr. West inquired abour dedication of streets such as
<br />Nancy and others in this area. City Engineer Dutton remarked that this
<br />area is a long way frum dedication. Drainage is a real problem, permits
<br />for building have been stopped for about 8 months. h1r0 Dutton feels
<br />some progress has been made but not a whole lot, and we defaniteDy do
<br />not want to relieve developers of their responsibilities. Samilar situ-
<br />ations on Michael Drive and Revere Drive were atso discussed, There waq
<br />also discussion of ditches in Bretton Ridge, particularly on Brighton Dr9
<br />Mr. West asked what status on legislation for charging commercial people
<br />for trash. Mrs. Hodgins will see that Mr.•Foltz has this infoa-mation
<br />for commi ttee to prepare legi slation.
<br />Under new business, Chai rman Mangani moved that Planning Cocnmission be
<br />notified that: a 30-day extension be granted Saks and Galdbeeg on their
<br />Rezoning request. This was seconded by Mrs. Hodgons. P"Yeas" Caster9
<br />Eian, Foltz, Hodgins, Limpert, Mangani and West. Mr. Mangani requested
<br />that Clerk notify the secretary of Planning Comnniss3an,
<br />Discussion followed on the 1929 Seagraves Fire Eragine as to what should

<br />notified tha? we wi11 probably sell it, and suggested that Clerk do this.
<br />Mr. West read the resu 1 ts of the survey he took in ta i sWard, 7% of the
<br />people responded to survey and results were informative and most inter-
<br />? esting. Mr. West requested that Clerk type a saimmary of survey for
<br />Coursci 1 or any i nterested persons.
