<br />Mayor Christman referred to the complaint of Mr. Roger Alexanoer in regard
<br />to short-vaeight of meat packages, brought up at Oc;tbbzr 3rd Council meet;rg.
<br />Mayor Christman har; checked with the County Bureau of Weights and hleasures,
<br />They saici they haU been called by Mr. Alexander many time:; ariu have kept a
<br />special watch in rhe North Olmsted area. They feel chat weighi; measure of
<br />packaged meat is about as good as possible, Mayor Christman ar;d men from
<br />Sureau weighed meat frorn two different stores, but saw nothing out of the
<br />ordinary, more thari one cent ore way or the other. Thursc:ay of the sarne
<br />week they weAghed nieat in two more stores, but could not detect any deliber-
<br />ate attempt to shor-t weight. However, the Bureau is very aware of the com-
<br />plaiiit, and will continue to check the situation. Mayor Christman suggests
<br />rhat Councilmen check a few packages now and then, if they wish to do so.

<br />that there wiit be a meeting of this Commictee Wednesday evening, Qctaber 18,

<br />Mr. Foltzy Legislative Chairman, saio he had a comrnunication frorn the Qoarei
<br />of Building Code Aapeals regarding ammending Ordinance 66-112 to include a
<br />pei-mit fee of $S.CiG. He recommends acLion be taken as soon as possible,

<br />a whole and the Committee of Eleven on October lOth to discuss further the
<br />adjustment of school passes and fares. Mr. Limpert commented that this
<br />citizens commitkee nas been very helpful in making cortacts with schools
<br />ar,u parents, and tney were abie to accomplish what the Transportation Com-
<br />mirtee has warted i,o do for quite some time - to have one bus make one run
<br />directly to schoais isivoived. We will now be able to adjust rates as followso
