The Board therefore rejected his objectian on the estimatcd assess- <br />ment. <br />Mr. Foltz, Chairman of the Legislative Cnmmittee, reported on their meetirYg <br />on March lst, at which they reviewed the Table of Organization for the Police <br />and Public Works Divisiony and made afew revisionso <br />They also discussed two sample-ordinances_given to the Legislativ°e C6mmitLee <br />for study on continuity of goyernment in the City in the event of enemy <br />attack, and-creating a Civilian Defense.organization. Attex lengthy dis- <br />cussion, it was decided to.set_up.a.meeting of Council as a wrrole at a <br />future date for further studq-of the proposed ardinances. <br />Ordinance No. 67-37 was on third reading. An Ordinance estabiishinA trce <br />Public Works Division of the City ot North Olmsted, setting forth the <br />persqnnel needed as to the sanitary sewer system of the Public Wbrks <br />Division, the Service Department of the Public Works Division, the Vehieie <br />Maintenance Department of the Public Works Divisian and the Building <br />Maintenance Department of the Publie Works Division and repealing aYi ather <br />ordinances inconsistent thereto. Mrs. Hodgins maved to amend the o-rdinance <br />in Section 3 as follows: in the second line, change "the Superintendent" <br />to "one Superintendent"! in the fifth line change "cansisL ot Y Service" <br />to read "supervise two Service"-1in the eighth line, change "be in eharge <br />of" to "supervise" and in the next lines change "1 Class C Labdrer to <br />read "3 Class C Laborers". Motion was seconded by Mr. Mangani, "Yeas" <br />Caster, Eian, Foltz, Hodgins, Limpert, Mangani, West. <br />Resolution No. 67-38 was given its third reading. A Resolution authorizing <br />the Director of Public Service and Public Safety to advertisE for bids tor <br />two new buses for the North Olmsted Municipal Bus LIne, Mr. Limpert moved <br />for adoption, seconded by Mr. Caster. Affirmative vote was Caster, Eian, <br />Foltz, Hodgins, Limpert, Mangani, Wesfi. <br />Ordinance No. 67-43 was given its third reading. An Ordinance establishing <br />the Organizational Chart for the Building Department of the City of North <br />Olmsted, setting forth the personnel needed as to the Building Department <br />and repealing all other ordinances inconsistent thereto. Mro Foltz moved <br />for adoption, seconded by Mr. Li.mpert. Affirmative vote was Caster, E3.an, <br />Foltz, Hodgins, Limpert, Manqani, West. <br />Ordinance No. 67-45 was given its third reading. An Ordinance setting <br />forth the Civil Service Commission of the City of North Olmsted as esta- <br />blished by and set forth in Article VI, Seetion l through 7 inclusive, <br />of the Charter of the City of North Olmsted, setting forth the membership <br />* in the sixth line, change "19 Laborers" to "22 Laborers".
