March 7, 1967 - Page 6 <br />Ordinance No, 67-67 was given its second reading. An Ordinance adopting <br />an organizational chart for the Finance Department to be headed by the <br />Director of Finance as provided for in Article V, Section 3 of the Charter <br />of the City of North Olmsted and in addition thereto providing positlans <br />for employees of this Department. <br />Ordinance No. 67-68 was introduced by Mr. Faltz and given its first rEading, <br />An Ordinance adopting an organizational chart for the Law Departmenc to <br />be headed by the Director of Law, as provided for in Artiele V, Sectian 2 <br />of the Charter of the City of North Olmsted, and in addition therEtd pro- <br />viding positions for empldyees of this department. <br />Ordinance No. 67-70 was given its second reading, An Ordinance tc suppie- <br />ment the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted by enacting an <br />income tax comp-rising Sections 1501.0101 to 1501.2702, both inclusivE, <br />and levying a tax to provide funds for the purposes af general mur,icipal <br />functions on all salaries, wages, commissions and other compensarions <br />earned by residents of the City of North Olmsted; on all salaries, wages <br />and eommissions and other compensations earned by nan-residents in the <br />City of North Olmsted; on the net profits earned on all businesses, <br />professions or other aetivities conducted by the residents of the City af" <br />North Olmsted; on the net profits.earned on all businesses, professions or <br />other activities conducted in_the City of North 0lmsted by non-res%dents; <br />and all the net profits earned bg all corporations doin$ business in the <br />City of North Olmsted as the result_of work done or services perfarmed or <br />rendered in the City of North Olmsted; requiring the filing of returns and <br />furnishing of information by employers and all those subject to said tax; <br />imposing on employers.the duty of collecting the tax at the source and <br />paying the same to the City of North Olmsted; providinq for the administra- <br />tion collection and enforcement of said taxt deelaring violation thereof <br />to be a misdemeanor and imposing penalties therefor. <br />Ordinance N0.-67-75 was introduced by Mr, Mangani. An Ordinance authoriz- <br />ing and directing the_cancellation of special assessments.on Permanent <br />Parcel No. 234-28-3 being an assessment for..preparation of plans and <br />specifications for sanitary_sewers, and declaring an emergency. Mre Mangani <br />moved for suspension of the.rule -requiring three readings, seconded by Mro <br />West. Affirmative vote was Caster, Eian, Foltz, Hodgins, Limpert, Mangani, <br />West. Mr, Mangani then moved..for adoption, seconded by Mr. Westa Affirma- <br />tive vote was Caster, Eian, Foltz, Hodgins, Limpert, Mangani, West, <br />Ordinance No. 67-76 was introduced by Mro West. An Ordinance authorizing <br />and directing the cancellation..of special assessments on Permanent ParceY <br />No. 231-4-67 being an assessment_for construction of a sanitary sewer <br />lateral, and declaring an emergency.
