Public parti- cipatian at the hearing was gaadm Z'here were many_ suggesicions and comments from the audience, and on a show oi hands, roughiy two to one at the hearing were in favor 6t acity income tax as lang as C1Leveland aiready has such a tax, so that some of the money being paid to Cleveland by our residents would ccme back to be used by North Olmsted. A r,resentaLion has been drawn ?xp for the 1967 budget and will be ready for the ? next cauncil meeting an February 21st. He asked that representatives from the news- papers help publicize the budget review. Mr. TJest reported that the Finance Committee requested the Law Direetor to draw up a ar°.Iiminary income tax ordinance, which wilY be reviewed by the Finance Committee at thei-r meeting on Tuesday, February 14th at 8:00 P.M. It is hoped that the ordinance will be readv for first reading ait the F'ebruary 21st Cauncil meeting. The Clerk read a petition recelved from property owners on Carla Lane with ref;ard ta expansion of the parking lot and creaition of a new entranee driveway at the Clague Road Playground.
