<br />Subdzv-"_:;ion will be nresented at the next Council meeting after approval of
<br />the Aona,_ntnents Committee and the Mayor is obtained.

<br />.=or inspectors in the Building Department and full-time hourly personnel, as

<br />4 discus3ion was held regarding the recommendation of the Planning Commission
<br />t_aat anv underground utilities ordinance be made mandatory in subdivisions of
<br />ten or more lots. Council was in favor of either making it voluntary, or man-
<br />da.`orvn with some discretionary powers in the Mayor or administration. The
<br />La-a '?irector then advised that legislation could not be drawn making it mandatory
<br />excent at the discretion of the Mavor or the Administration, since this would be
<br />delegatinQ Council's powers. The matter will be further studied in committee.
<br />P,. 7i_nance Committee meetinQ was set for Monday, February 13 at 8!00 P.M. for
<br />di-scussion of the income tax ordinance as drawn up by the Law Director. Copies
<br />-rill Ibe 4urnished to Council, the Finance Director, the Mayor, etc., and it is
<br />asked that Council read and study the proposed legislation, then come to the
<br />Meeting for a discussion.
<br />Mr. Lim^ert requested that legislation be drawn on an emergencv basis authoriz-
<br />inv_ tbe Mavor to enter into a contract and agreement with Metro-Media for bus
<br />advertis-no.
<br />Mro -?est requested that legislation be drawn authorizing the Safety-Service
<br />Director to advertise for slag in an amount up to one thousand tons.
