<br />Couacil Mi.nutes 4-21-70 <br />Page -5- <br />Mrs. Hodgins requested a review af the upcoming meetiaga; also <br />called far a meetinR of the Puhlic Parks Propertq & Recreation <br />GommiCtee at 7:30 p.m., May 7th. <br />Mr. Grady stated he hsd received c+amplaints from hame awners ia <br />coaneetion with Mastick Stables whieh burned dacrn seweral weeke ago, <br />that debris is still hurnin$. He stated ht looiced Sunday aad it is <br />still burning wi.th a greaE desi af smoke a€rd culor• He quastianefl if <br />debris could be renpved or cause praperty cwmer tc be required to <br />burq it. <br />Mr. tdest said it was leveled o€f campletelq on Monday and same looked <br />good. <br />Mr. Grady then asked what procedure is for leveling the tecuses which are <br />abaadoued on Clague and Grace Roads for the highwsy coastxuctian; they <br />being an eyesore and also could attract vandalB, vagraats, etc. Msyor <br />Christman answered this is the respansibility of the State and he w9.ll <br />certainlq hring this to their attentian. Mr. Gradq referred to an <br />area sas:- )f Calumbia, apposite Kennedp Ridge - a stretch of about 300 ft. <br />where there ia ao guard rail, appears to be a dangerove situstion and <br />requested the PresidenC of Couac3l to refer it ta appxopriate Committee <br />for fenCing same f.f it 3s the City's responsibility, inaauuch as this is a <br />state or couaty highwaq. <br />Mayor Christman answered this is the City's responsibility and some were <br />put up a few years ago, and if it is felt that it is necessary to rut more <br />up, recommended going to Finance Committee to see if funds are available. <br />Mr. Limpert iaill look into the matter. <br />Mr. Speedling inquired as to gresent status of sidewalks on south side <br />of Butternut Ridge and when theq will be installed. Mayor Christman <br />said plans are a11 grapared and should be ready to go this Spring as <br />soon as weather permits. <br />Under new business, Mr. Boehmer said he has received ecmplaint from <br />resident on Mill Rd. wondering w'hen the 2ot will be cleanad up from <br />the homes that were moved and if possfble would like to find out who <br />owner is to send notice on seme. Mr. Boehmer a2so called for a Mvnicipal <br />Development Committee meeting on ApriZ 29th at 8:30 p.m., Caucus 8oam, <br />City Hall. <br />President 0'Neill said Mr. Boehmer can receive informatiaa regarding lot <br />on Mill Rd. from Mr. Gundy. <br />Mr. West requested legialation approving the Monte, Kacperski, Olmsted <br />Woods, Olmted Taraers fox xecordtng purposes oalp, and Pacer Ccrostructian <br />for rezoning.
