Council Minutes 4-7-70 <br />-3- <br />Mr. D, Ernest* 30106 Lorain Rd., asked about Public Hearing of <br />Ordinances No. 69-220 and 60-221. It will be April 27, 1970, <br />8:15 p.m., City Hall. <br />Mrs. A. Keefer, 5381 Whitehaven, spoke about coadition on Whitehaven <br />Rd. In response to her questions, the Maqor said contractor hsd been <br />unable to get roads in area resurfaced prior to winter, but hopefully <br />very soon naw asphalt comEpanies ehould be opened up, and the sewers <br />are about ready to hook into. <br />Mrs. Wm. Harmond, 5256 Whitehaven, asked what measures can be employed <br />to guarantee restoration of property. The Mayor said the contractor <br />has a completion bond in amouat of enCire contract, 4% is held back <br />(of total) and not released until contract is coutpletely finished. <br />Completion date is 440 daps for entire project, so if he started in <br />January of 1969, completion would be in June. The section that Mrs. <br />Harmond would like City to check on and keep track of is the southwest <br />corner of Whitehaven. <br />LEGISLATION: Ordinsnce No. 70-36 which had been introduced by Mr. <br />West was given iCs third reading. An Ordinance amending the Zone Map <br />adopted as part of Ordinance No. 62-33, (knawn as the zoning code of <br />the City of North Olmsted) by changing the designation thereon of <br />certain land from its present designation thereon as Hi-Rise district <br />to commercial district. Mr. t•lest noved that Ordinance be adopted. <br />This motion was seconded by Mr. Boehmex. Affirmative vote Boehmer, <br />Grady, Hodgins, Limpert, Prokasy, Speedling, 14est. <br />Resolution No. 70-57 which had been introduced bq Mrs. Hodgins was <br />given its third reading. A Resolution memorializ3ng the Members of <br />the Ohio General Assembiy to clarify Section 3773.24 or to regeal same. <br />Mrs. Hodgins moved that reaolution be adopted, seconded by Mr. Weat. <br />Affirmative vote Boehmer, Grady, Aodgins, Limpert, Prokasy, Speedling, <br />West. <br />Ordinance No. 70-58 which had been inCroduced by Mr. Limpert was given <br />its third reading. An Ordinance amending the accumulated 'slck leave' <br />policy and the regulations governing accumulated 'sick leave' for all <br />employees in all departments of the City of NorCh Olmsted, but excluding <br />therefrom elected officials, and repealing Ordinance No. 68-43. Mr. <br />Limpert moved that ordinance be adopted, seconded by Mrs. Hodgina. <br />Affirmative vote Boehmer, Grady, Hodgins, Limpert, Prokasy, Speedling, <br />West. <br />Ordinance No. 70-68 was introduced by Mr. Boehmer. An Ordinance <br />authorizing cooperative agreement for construction, maintenance and <br />operation of Waste Water Facility between the City of North Olmsted <br />and the Ohio tdater Aevelapment Authority and declaring aa emergency. <br />Mr. Boehmer moved for suspension of rule requiring three separate <br />readings, seconded by Mr. Weat. Affirmative vote Boehmer, Grady, <br />Hodgins, Limpert, Prokasy, 5peedling, IJest. Mr. Boehmer then moved <br />
