<br />a new chapter 731., entitled "Motion Pictuxes and Films" and enacting
<br />new sections relating to the installation, maintenance and operation
<br />of moti.on picture mach3.aes and films, and declaring an emergency.
<br />Mr. West then moved•that it be amended to include words "civil and
<br />fraternal" in section No. 731.07, eftez benevolence, and same be added
<br />on second page after benevolent. Hotion was seconded by Mr. Grady.
<br />"Yeas" Boehmer, Grady, Aodgins, Limgert, Prvkasy, Speedling, West.
<br />Mr. Grady aZso moved that there be a penalty increase in same ordir.3nce,
<br />in section 731.99 from $I00.00 to $300.00. Mr. Joha tJest aaid tt,ese
<br />penalty amounts are aet by State of Ohio and the $100.00 is the top
<br />amount we can use in thise case. Mr. Grady withdrew the motion.
<br />Ordinance No. 70-75 was intraduced by Mr. Prokasy, and given its first
<br />reading. An Ordinance authorfziag the Building Commisaioner to proceed
<br />with the demolitfon or reaeaval of the dwellings on permanent parcel No.
<br />232-10-61, Lorain Road, North Olmsted, Ohio.
<br />Ordinance No. 70-76 was inCroduced by Mr. Limpert. An Ordinance trans-
<br />ferring appropriations and makiag additional appropriationa for current
<br />expenses and other expenditures far the City of North Olmsted, Ohio, for
<br />the year ending December, 31, 1970, and declaring an emergency. Mr.
<br />Limpert moved for suspension of rule requiring three separate readings,
<br />secoaded by Mr. Grady. Affirmative vote Bvehmer, Grady, Hodgins, Limpert,
<br />Prokasy, Speedling, West. Mz. Limpert then moved for adapCion of 4rdin-
<br />ance, seconded by Mr. Gradq. Affirmative vote Boehmer, Grady, Hodgins,
<br />Limpert, Prokasy, Speedling, West.
<br />Ordinance No. 70-77 was intraduced by Mr. L3mpert. An Ordinance estab-
<br />lishing the Organizational Chart af the Fire Departaent, setting forth
<br />the couplement of the Fire Aepartment and establishing the saleries of
<br />the members of the Fire Departnent while on duty for the City oF North
<br />Olmsted, and repealing Oxdinance No. 70-24, and declaring an emergency.
<br />Mr. Limpert moved for suspeneion of rule requiring three separate
<br />readings, seconded by Mr. Speedling. "Yeas" Boehmer, Hodgins, Limpert,
<br />Prokasy, Speedling, West. "Nay" Grady. Mr. Grady, who had voted "no"
<br />said he would like to give his reason for objecCion. He felt since
<br />both sides have not agreed as yet, passage of ordinancQ is premature,
<br />since it will be retroactive whenever it is passed so why not wait
<br />until agreement is reached. Mr. Limpert said acturally they have agreed.
<br />He has contacted both committees and although they are not in accordance,
<br />they are in agreement to accept. Mr. Grady said he had not underetood
<br />it thst way but he will naa vote "yes" if they have agreed to accept.
<br />Mr. Limpert then moved far adoption of Ordinance, seconded by Mr.
<br />Speedling. Affirmative vote Boehmer, Grady, Hodgins, Limpert, Prokasy,
<br />Speedling, West.
<br />Ordinance No. 70-78 was introduced by Mr. Limpert. An Ordinance eptab-
<br />lishing the organization of composition of the Poli.ce Department of the
<br />City of North 0lmsted; establishfng salaries of the members of the Police
