, -C?ouncil Minutes 2-I7-70 Page -8- <br />Mr. Liiapert requested legisiat-iaa ta._r.hange the wage strucCure of <br />the Finance Department; also requested legislation be drawn up for <br />Department Heads for single portion of hospitalization coverage. <br />Mrs. Hudgins called for a meeting of Public Parks Property & Recreation <br />Committee on February 25th, at 8:00 p.m., City Hall. <br />Mrs. Hodgins requested legislation on Sunday Closing Law. <br />Mr. Speedling requested proper Committee to make a study on feasibility <br />of vacating Northern Avenue between becker & Porter Rosds as a dedicated <br />street. <br />it this time, Mr. West stated there are two bills in State Legislature, <br />one relative to refundiag of motor vehicle fuel taxes, and one seCting <br />up a county wide Port Authority to own and operate a county transit <br />system. Relative to the latter bill, Mr. West said we need to find out <br />whether North Olmsted could continue to operate, what requirements, etc., <br />because we do not want to be forced into it. He suggested writing Senator <br />Weeks for copy of bills. Mayor Christman stated he w311 call or write <br />for same. <br />President 0'Neill called for Council Members to meet as Connnittee of the <br />Whole on March 16th, at 8:30 p.m., Caucus Room, City Hall. <br />Mr. West moved that meeting be adjourned, seconded by Mr. Prokasy.
