<br />Resolution No. 69-125 was introduced by Mr. Prokasy, A Resolution
<br />amending Resolution No. 69-122, enacted May 20, 1969, and entitled
<br />"A Resolution declaring the intention of Council to appronriate cer-
<br />tain property for the purpose of additional recreational areas for
<br />the City of North Olmsted, and declaring an emergency," and declar-
<br />ing an emergencye Mr. Prokasy moved for suspension of rule reauiring
<br />three separate readings, seconded by Mr, Tdest- Affirmafiive vote Caster,
<br />Eian, Hodgins, Limpert, Prokasy, i.aest. Mr. Prokasy then moved for
<br />adoption of Resolution, seconded by Mr. West. Affirmative vote Caster,
<br />Efan, Hodgins, Limpert, Prokasy, West.
<br />Resolution No, 69-126 was introduced by Mr. Caster. A Resolution au-
<br />thorizing the Mayor to contract with the County Commissioners of
<br />Cuyahoga County, Ohio, for the purpose of installation, maintenance
<br />and use of a teletype system, and declaring an emergeney. Mr. Caster
<br />moved for suspension of rule requiring three separate readings, sec-
<br />onded by Mr. West. Affirmative vote Caster, Efan, Hodgins, Limpert,
<br />Prokasy, West. Mr, Caster then moved for adoption of Resolution,
<br />seconded by Mr. West. Affirmative vote Caster, Eian, Hodgins, Limpert,
<br />Prokasy, West.
<br />Ordinance No. 69-127 was introduced by Mr. West and put on first reading.
<br />An Ordinance establishing the complement of the Recreation Department af-
<br />fixing the compensation to be paid the members therefor, and declaring an
<br />emergencyA Mr. West requested this proposed Ordinance be submitted to
<br />Recreation Commission for their comments.
<br />Under old business, Mrs. Hodgins reQUested stop sign be erected at Byron
<br />and Root Roads.
<br />Mr. Taest discussed written report he had received f'rom Service Director
<br />showing hours and cost spent on ditches during month of May.
<br />Mrm West asked where we stand on Barton Road sidewalks. Mr. Karhan said
<br />he is waiting to secure easement from Mrm Charles.
<br />Mr. West questioned Mr, T4atts about Fitch Road repair conditions, Mr.
<br />Watts said that after meeting caith County men and others involved, he
<br />had been assured it would be taken care of within the next two weeks.
<br />Mr. West asked about progress of dedication of Revere Road.. Mr. Karhan
<br />said he had met with Mr. Bauer, and he had promised he would get necessary
<br />items taken care of so that street can be dedicated.
<br />Mre Caster said Municipal Development Committee will meet Monday, June 16th,
<br />at 8:00 p.m. They would like to have representatives from Martin, North
<br />Park, Porter, Lansing at meeting to review revised street drainage plans.
<br />The Clerk is to notify Mr. Boehmer, and he has agreed to let interested
<br />people know of ineeting.
<br />Under new business, Mr. Prokasy requested legislation for amendments to
<br />Zoning Code in multi-family dwelling sections of Zoning Code to upgrade
<br />standards for parking and density of units. Also, for a new zoning category,
