<br />that a 30-day extension tc Olmsted fiowers Proposal (Biskind & Shur),in
<br />the mixed-use area oi sliopping center, be granted. Mr. Caster moved that:
<br />this extension also be granced, seconded by Mr. Limpert, "Yeas" Caster,
<br />Eian, Hodgins, LimpetL, Miller
<br />Mr. Robert EnglESon, 6168 Staffocd Drive, representing National City Bank
<br />in this City, expressed thanks also to our Police Department for their
<br />especially fine work recently in breaking up the drug ring in this area.
<br />He feels we should be very proud of our courteous and dedicated Police
<br />Department.
<br />Mr. Roger Alexander, 5091 Dauglas, spoke to Council on subject of short
<br />weight meat in North OlmsLed, He recommends that Council pass legislation
<br />that would ensute each sLore maintaining a scale for use by customers to
<br />verify stated weights of packaged meate Mr. Alexander also feels legisla-
<br />tion should be passed prohibiting use of colored lights or wrapping paper
<br />to enhance appearance of foods.
<br />Mr. Eian replied chau the North Olmsted administration has taken up this
<br />subject at greaL lengLh and has been assured by the County office that
<br />weight measure is nuc a problem heree Mr. Eian did, however, recommend
<br />that Mr. Alexander`s sampie titles for legislation be put into the Legisla-
<br />tive CommitLee for study-
<br />Mr. Arthur Sheldon, 5037 Berkshire Drive, asked if decision of Planning Com-
<br />mission would deiay April 8th meeting, and was told it would not.
<br />Ordinance N6- 69-34, whit-h had been introduced by Mr. West, was given its
<br />third reading, "An Ordinance iimicing the accumulation of overtime, and
<br />vacation and/or holiday time for members of the Police Department and Fire
<br />Department." Mra Limpezr moved for adoption of Ordinance, seconded by
<br />Mrs. Hodgins. Affirmative vote Caster, Eian, Hodgins, Limpert, Mi11er.
<br />Ordinance No. 69-56, which had been introduced by Mr. Caster, was given
<br />its third reading, "An Ordinance establishing rates to be charged for
<br />the services of the Municipal Sanitary Sewerage System Utility of the
<br />City of NorLh Olmsted, and repealing Ordinance Nos. 67-185, enacted June
<br />26, 1967, 61-156, enacted August 15, 1961, 61-110, enacted May 16, 1961,
<br />and 3159, enauted November 15, 1960, and declaring an emergency," Mr»
<br />Caster moved for adaption Ot Lhe Ordinance, seconded by Mr. Limpert,•
<br />Affirmative vote Casccr, Eian, Hodgins, Limpert, Miller.
<br />Ordinance No> 69-57, which had been introduced by Mr. West, was given
<br />its third reading, "An Ordi.nanc°e establishing the Organizational Chart
<br />of the Fire Deparrment seccing forth the complement of the Fire Depart-
<br />ment and establishing Lhe salaries of the members of the Fire Department
<br />while on duty for ihe CiCV of North Olmsted, and repealing Ordinance No.
<br />68-134, and declaring an emergency." Mro Caster moved for adoption of the
<br />Ordinance, seconded by Mr- Limpert, Affirmative vote Caster, Eian, Hodgins,
<br />Limpert, Miller.
<br />Ordinance No- 69-58, which had been introduced by Mr. West, was given its
<br />? third reading, "An Ordinance establishing the Organization and Composition
<br />of the Police Deparcment ot the Gity of North Olmsted; establishing salaries
<br />of the members of the Police Department while on duty for the City of North
