Mr. Prokasy pointed out that it may <br />tend to increase traffic on Kennedy Ridge but point of safety as far as <br />police and fire is well taken. Mr. West feels this is something that <br />should be looked into. Mr. West explained that the 1500 ft. is on Great <br />Northern Blvd. <br />Mr. Ford also questioned if the outside of the present hi-rise is finished. <br />Mr. Wbst said it is not. <br />Mr. Ford, Kennedy Ridge, referred to picttire which appeared in Sun Herald <br />regarding whole layout of particular area. Feels this will enhance community <br />in future but did not see any glayground area for children in layout. He <br />believes that when plans are before Planning Commission and Council that some <br />area should be provided as playground area for children. Apartment leases <br />were then discussed, as well as completion of I 480. <br />Mr. Krueger, Kennedy Ridge Road, requested Mr. West to explain procedure <br />regarding Mixed Use detailed plans. Mr. West explained procedure of <br />Planning Commission, Building, Zoning & Development Cammittee of Council, <br />and Council, as well as obtaining permit from Building Department. <br />Mr. Krueger, Kennedy Ridge Road, stated he would like someone from the area <br />to be present at Planning Comnission meeting and Committee meetings when <br />detailed plans are presented. <br />Mr. West stated the Ward Councilman is included in any of the proposals <br />that are brought up. Mr. West s#Ad he will advise Mr. Krueger when the <br />plans are before the Building, Zoning & Development Committee of Council. <br />Clerk of Council to advise him. <br />Mr. Grady questioned if the proposal was moving the area nearer to Kennedy <br />Ridge. Mr. West answered no and explained same on map. <br />Mr. Grady discussed whether or not there would be room beW¢een back end of <br />building and buffer zone to erect a swimming pool, which could be a noise <br />factor to residents on Kennedy Ridge.
