/
Council Minutes of 3-•16-71
Pade -2-
of Ohio became eligible for 50% Federal Grant Fuitds because the
Environmental Protection Agency had found the progran of Che State
of Ohio (throu$h Band Issue No. 1 funds) to be a participating grant
program, and that the Fedaral share, plus the State share would thexe-
fore increase the smatuzt of money that would be made availatble direct2y
to the Cities of Ohio. In fallaafng tnis further, I difficussed it with
officials of the Ohio Water Developumt Autharity, and they haves indi,
cated to me ia a coavezaation held this past Friday, that the anlp funls
that are going to be mttde available to the Citiees of Ohio are 30X of the
eligible project casts and that ahauld, by December 1974, there be gny
funds left in the groject account of the Ohio Water Davelopawmt Authority,
then they may add arldftional grant fuacis to the Citiee who hsve already
participated in the program.
