Timothy, Broxbourne Rd., suggested Council delay a,pprov:l of center <br />line of Stearns Rd. umtil decision hss been made regarding Bmbassy Deve7.ap- <br />ment. Discussion continued. <br />Mz. J. Heckerman, Hampton Dr., feels if center line is approved thexe w311 <br />be no need for public tearing as to whether or not residents of NorCh 01.msted <br />waat the road. Also feels road will dapreciate his property. <br />It was explained to Mr. Heckezman that same is a Coeuntq road; public heariag <br />was held initiallq 3 qears ago when road was firsL proposed by Countq; road <br />can be put in regardlesa of whether Council approves it or not by right of <br />emninent domain; bridge through Clifton Park was cited as an example of what <br />can and wse dane. It xss also brought out the need for aegotisttng w3th the <br />Couoty to bes?efit the residente of *tarth Olmsted rather thaa taking a megative <br />attitude; also discussed Gmsent Ordinance which Council will vote on at a <br />future time. <br />Mr. R. Estes, Iiampton Dr., aaked if it is the obligation of the City ta <br />paq 25% of costs ff center line is passed. <br />Preaident 0'Neill said it would be regardless.
