''-hl. number in audience objecting to rezoning which totalled 25. <br />Mr. T ?.ced he did nat receive a notice. <br />Mrs. '?*.-.-a, 5166 Whitethorn, asked if there was a proposal for Kennedy <br />Ridg: cut through when apartments are finished. <br />Presie,--. -ro Tem Prokasy said there is no such proposal at this time. He <br />i:he Council and Committee of Council cancerned with this so far <br />has no knowledge of such request €orthcoming and in past histozy has objected <br />to any such request but no one can bind a11 future Cowcils and Planning <br />Commissions. Mr. Speedling and Mr. West agreed. Discussion continued. <br />Mr. R. Wallace, 5336 Hampton Rd., comuented on meeting he had with County <br />Engineers regarding Stearns Rd. extension. Had asked at that meeting to <br />have line moved over an additional 100 to 150 ft. and was informed this <br />could not be done because a bourling land piece of property hatl been purchased. <br />He understandinow that a presentatiQn was made by funeral parlor ocaner to <br />have the line moved over and this has been done. Asked for verification. <br />President Pro Tem Prokasy stated this is a Caunty project aad under that <br />jurisdiction. Council can ntake suggest3.ons and recoamiendations but it is not <br />under their control. <br />Mr. West explained the County had three proposals; chose #3 and same does <br />leave f»neral home intact: It is to the west of the funeral home, az?d also <br />caest of 11r. Wallace's property. Mr. West reiterated this is the decision <br />made b;, -'-he County; thep made the decieion and all they are asking for is <br />concurr.•ea.ae. Mr. tJall.ace stated he wae agsinst Che Brookpaxk Extension, <br />is again;t the Stearns Rd. center line and, also, the proposed rezoning of <br />Embassy Apts. <br />rir. Hess, Butternut Ridge Rd., commented on devaluation af property around <br />proposed C.E.I. higi^ line, and hopes Council will follow proposal offered <br />by Mr. Childs. Asked if there was to be another public meeting. <br />It was decided that Clerk will notify Mr. Childs and Mr. Hess of next <br />meeting regarding C.E.I. high line; they in turn to not3fy other interested <br />residents. Mr. West said this maCter 1s important to everyone aad will be <br />fully explored. <br />Mr. E. Timothy, Broxbourne, asked for another Public Hearing on Embassy Apts. <br />because of changes made. <br />President Pro Tem Prokasy explained that by laca we do not have another Public <br />? Hearing, but the Comnittee chaired by Mr. West will be glad to have aaother <br />meeting with the people in that area for open discussion of proposal. It <br />was decided that Mr. Timothy, Mr. Connolly and Mr. Neale will be notified <br />as spo lesmen of time axLd date of next ffieeting.
