Council Minutes of 11-21-72 -5- Or:i~.~ance No. 72-193 was introduced by Mr. Lampert and given its first reading. An 0~~:inance adopting an Orga:,izatonal Chart for the Administration to be headed by the Mayor, as provided for in Article III, Section 1 through 5, inclusive, of the Charter of the City of North Olmsted, and in addition thereto, providing positions for ~k-yees of this Department, and repealing Ordinance No. 72-100, enacted June 20, 1972. Ordinance Ha. 72-194 was introduced by Mr. Lampert and given its first reading. An Ordinance establishing the Organisati~al Chart for the Fin~ce Department of the City of North Olmsted, setting forth the compensation to be paid employees of the Finance Departaent, and repealing Ordinance No. 72-32, enacted June 6, 1972. Under Old Business: Mrs. Beringer requested the Secretary of Commissions mail directly to Council Members the Planning Commission Agenda. Mr. West referred to State going to court against Rockside Hidea~ray Landfill on charges of pollution. City uses that landfill and will be affected if same has to shut down. He would like to see the environmental acies be more constructive and come up with solutions instead of trying to stop everything. Discussion continued as to future programs. Under New Business: Mr. Speedling requested legislation authorizing the Building Commissioner to proceed with demolition of frame dwelling and detached garage at 27845 Lorain Road. Mr. Lampert referred to Mr. David Ransbury, Assistant City Bngineer, who resigned. Mr. Liapert made a motion that letter be written extending appreciation from Council for a job well done. Motion was seconded by Mr. Boehmer. Affirmative vote Boehmer, Giessen, Lampert, Prokasy, Saringer, Speedling, West. Motion carried. Mayor Christman stated a movie will be shown at 7:30 P.M., at next Council Meeting on December 5th. Group of people from Barton Road Church used a part of the hospital land for a garden this Sumter to grog vegetables for the inner city poor. They said project was a success and would like to inform Council. Mr. Lampert scheduled a Finance Committee meeting on November 27, 1972, at 8:15 P.M. Mr. Boehmer moved that meeting be adjourned, seconded by Mr. West. Affirma- tave vote $oehmer, Giessen, Lampert, Prokasy, Beringer, Speedling, West. Motion carried.
