<br />Council Minutes of 11-21-72 <br />-5- <br />Or:i~.~ance No. 72-193 was introduced by Mr. Lampert and given its first reading. <br />An 0~~:inance adopting an Orga:,izatonal Chart for the Administration to be <br />headed by the Mayor, as provided for in Article III, Section 1 through 5, <br />inclusive, of the Charter of the City of North Olmsted, and in addition <br />thereto, providing positions for ~k-yees of this Department, and repealing <br />Ordinance No. 72-100, enacted June 20, 1972. <br />Ordinance Ha. 72-194 was introduced by Mr. Lampert and given its first reading. <br />An Ordinance establishing the Organisati~al Chart for the Fin~ce Department <br />of the City of North Olmsted, setting forth the compensation to be paid <br />employees of the Finance Departaent, and repealing Ordinance No. 72-32, <br />enacted June 6, 1972. <br />Under Old Business: <br />Mrs. Beringer requested the Secretary of Commissions mail directly to <br />Council Members the Planning Commission Agenda. <br />Mr. West referred to State going to court against Rockside Hidea~ray Landfill <br />on charges of pollution. City uses that landfill and will be affected if <br />same has to shut down. He would like to see the environmental acies be <br />more constructive and come up with solutions instead of trying to stop <br />everything. Discussion continued as to future programs. <br />Under New Business: <br />Mr. Speedling requested legislation authorizing the Building Commissioner <br />to proceed with demolition of frame dwelling and detached garage at 27845 <br />Lorain Road. <br />Mr. Lampert referred to Mr. David Ransbury, Assistant City Bngineer, who <br />resigned. Mr. Liapert made a motion that letter be written extending <br />appreciation from Council for a job well done. Motion was seconded by <br />Mr. Boehmer. Affirmative vote Boehmer, Giessen, Lampert, Prokasy, Saringer, <br />Speedling, West. Motion carried. <br />Mayor Christman stated a movie will be shown at 7:30 P.M., at next Council <br />Meeting on December 5th. Group of people from Barton Road Church used a <br />part of the hospital land for a garden this Sumter to grog vegetables for <br />the inner city poor. They said project was a success and would like to <br />inform Council. <br />Mr. Lampert scheduled a Finance Committee meeting on November 27, 1972, <br />at 8:15 P.M. <br />Mr. Boehmer moved that meeting be adjourned, seconded by Mr. West.
