Mr. Prnkasy mm~d <br />for adoption of Resolution, seconded by Mr. Lampert. Affirmative vote: <br />Boehmer, Giesser, Lampert, Prokasy, Saringer, Speediing, West. Resolution <br />adopted. <br />President O'Nei11 requested agenda be amended for approval of Council minutes <br />of Septembex 5, 1972. <br />Mr. Prdcasy moved agenda be amended for approval of Council Minutes of Septem- <br />ber 5, 1972, seconded bq Mt. Lampert. Affirmative vote: Boehmer, Giesser, <br />Lampert, Prokasy, Saringer, Speedling, West. Motion carried. <br />Minutes of Council Meeting of September 5, 1972 were approved as read. <br />Under New Business: Mr. West requested legislation to approve for record <br />purposes only the Homburg Subdivision on Martin Drive. B. Z. tr D. Come~i.ttee <br />had approved this at September 1$th meeting. <br />Mr. Lampert requested the Legislation Committee check over City's sign <br />ordinance. Mx. Lampert has noted that there are quite a few portable signs <br />on trailers parked out in front of business establishments and would like <br />this checked out. Mr. WesC stated this is apart of the Special Committee <br />of a review of the Zoning Ordinances and Committee does have a recommendation <br />previously made by Mr. Giesser and Committee is considering that. <br />Mayor Christman discussed what the County is doing on solid waste disposal <br />problem. Presently they have underway quite an extensive study and they <br />are about to put out some of the results of this study which is being <br />conducted through a federal grant. Regional Planning has provided much of <br />the information and Gounty was out 3 or 4 months ago getting facts and figures <br />from the City. The County is very much aware of the severity of the solid <br />waste disposal problem. Dissuasion continued. President O'Neill asked if <br />anything further has been heard regarding Brookpark intending at one time to <br />put a plant across from Ford Motor Co. As a reauit of this disposing of the <br />waste, they could produce a steam product that they wand sell to Ford Motor <br />Co. Mayor Christman said he had contact from someone from their Council and <br />they had a tentative date set for August 30th, but he has not heard anymore <br />since then. Mr. West suggested checking into Lorain County. Discussion <br />continued. <br />Mr. West stated there will be a point meeting of Council, Pla~tning Cot~ssion <br />and Citizens Advisory Committee on September 21, 1972, 7:30 P.K., City Hall, <br />on the 701 Grant. He encouraged anyone interested to attend. <br />President O'Neill referred to Mr. Giesser, Chaiman Legislation Committee, <br />resolution which was passed in City of Warrensville Heights. relative to <br />people having to appear in Columbus for liquor permits. Warrensville Reights <br />has made a plea that a location be established in the County. <br />Mr. Lampert requested legislation authorizing the City to paq City's portion <br />of hospitalization under the Kaiser plan. <br />Mr. Lampert requested Clexk of Council to notify the A & F Tea Company of <br />Finance Committee's recommendation and answer to their request. <br />;.,~ . ..~,~<.<w,N.. <br />,.....~:.u.. _. <br />
