Council Minutes of 9-5-72 <br />-5- <br />Mr. Peter Mahoney, 26730 Ross Circle, spore against the Gold Circle Store and <br />the $rookpark Extension. Feels City in interested primarily in cosmarcial <br />interests. <br />At this time Mrs. 5ariager au~de a motion that Council rescind the approval <br />of the Gold Circle buffer zone. Motion died for lack of a second. <br />Mr. Lampert discussed with Mr. edatto, Dev9eloper, the possibility of <br />making the mutd higher after excar~-agion has started. Retention basin and <br />pitch of mound was discussed. Ms. Lia~-e-rt also discussed the fence being <br />3 ft. higher. Mr. DiB~t~rsdetto stated it will be a slat fence so lights will <br />not shine through. Discussion cvntimed. <br />Mr. H. Terakedis, 26657 Leeaders Lame, discussed the Brookpark Factension and <br />the Gold Circle Store. Feels $rookpark itd.should be extended before ~- more <br />commercial property is developed. <br />Mr. Ron 5imerlq, 26859 Lee~ers Lane, stated he does not see any necessity for <br />the Brookpark 8xtension and stated his reasons. <br />Mr. Kago, 4639 Ashbury Park, d~cuesed the Brookpark 8xtenaion and feels the <br />Extension should be put in at one time rather than segmented into portions. <br />Mrs. Russell, Stearns Rd., disused the Public Hearing held by the County <br />Comeni.ssioners on Stearns Road. Mrs. Russell spoke against the Steam Road <br />proposal. <br />LEGISLATION: <br />Mr. Prokasy made a motion that the agenda be amended to include R+~awlution No. <br />72-99 and Resolution No. 72-153. Motion was seconded by Mr. r. Affir- <br />mative vote Boehmer, Giessen, Lampert, Prokasy, Beringer, Speedling. Motion <br />carried. <br />Ord~.nsnce Ko. 72-147 introduced by Mr. Prokasy was given its third reading. <br />An Ordinance cancelling die ~+wer assessmas-t agsiast Pe t parcel ~. 232- <br />19-33 and authorizing the Director of Finance to refund the sutra of ~FZ2.40 <br />already paid by the o~ers of per~oanent parcel No. 232-19-33 incorrectly assasrd. <br />Mr. Prokasy moved for ado~xtion of ©rdinance, seconded by I~r. A <br />Resolution accepting for record purposes only the Froehlich S~diviarion. <br />Resolution No. 72-112 introduced by Mr. Giessen was given its second reading. <br />A Resolution opposing the rate increase requested by the East Ohio Gas C+arpany. <br />Mr. Lampert made a motion to amend Ord. No. 72-132, Section 4, rate of ianten- <br />ance Mechanic to read €r~ "3.20 to $5.00 per hour" . Morton was sa~cei by <br />Mr. Prokasy.
