Mr. West requested C1er1c to officially ~tify the President of Southeast Area Graath Association, and Mr. ~atard Childs of this meeting. Mr. Frokasy, Chairman Streets & Drainage Comonittee reported this Comed.ttee meton May 16th, concerning eidswalk prargrae far 1972, and Comaittee vot~l to approve the proposed pragra~a from the Engineering D~tparta~tt far Contract No. 1 which includes sidewalks on Ifartin Drive -east side, Lansing Drive - east side, Oring Drive -south side bet~re+m Martin and Latui~, also ~s- cellaneous lots on Noreen Drive and vacant late on Gardenia Drive. Will request legislation foe sane. Mr. Prakasy scheduled a Streets 6 Drainage Committee meeting for May 23, 1972, 8:00 P.M., City Sall, and requested Service Director Caster and City Engineer Rarhan to be in attendance. LETTERS, (XBIMtNICATIONS: The Clerk read a petition signed by 24 residents of Sweetbrier Drina, requesting that a street light be placed on existing pole on south side of Sweetbrier Dr. opposite east corner of 25500 Sweetbrier Dr. Residents feel this is a necessity as street is pearly lit which encourages vandalism and theft. LEGISLATIONS Ordinance No. 72-27 introduced by Mr. West was given its third reading. An Ordinance amending the Zone tiap ado@tad as part of Ordinance No. 62-33 (known as the Zoning Code of the City of North Olmsted) by changing the designation thereon of certain land from the present deaignatioAS thereo~a as Mixed Use District to General Retail Business District. Mr. West moved for adaQtion of Ordinance, seconded by Mr. Boeimrer. Mr. Lampert asked Mr. facet if he was assured this would not be used for anything other than a beauty parlor. Mr. facet said he cannot guarantee but the B.Z.& D. Coamittee knows owner has a slgmed legal contr~t to sell with specifications that it is going to be for a beauty parlor, and he disclaims any knowledge of request for the liquor pero-3t. Roll Call on Motion: Affirmative vote Boehmer, Giessen, Lampert, Prdcasy, Saringer, Speedling, West. Motion carried. Resolution No. 72-51 introduced by Mr. Boehmer was given its third reading. A Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise far bids for new tires and tubes for use by the City and authorising the Mayor to contract for same. Mr. Boeha~er moved for adoption of Resalutioa, seconded by Mr. West. Affirmative vote Boehmer, Giessen, Liapert, Prdicasy, Saringer, Speedling, West. Nation carried.
