Mr. Nesbitt asked <br />that Council desig~aate representatives to meet and discuss the matter <br />further. <br />President O'Neill said Mr. Nesbitt wi11 be contacted. <br />Mr. Delmar Ernest, 3tli06 Lorain Rd., questioned why proposed ordinance for <br />reduced fares for s+utior citissrns vas restricted only to North Olmsted <br />residents; why could this not be for any senior citiaea boarding the buses? <br />Mr. 5peedling stated this was discussed prior to Ming and the ordinanee <br />will be introduced and placed on first reading but prior to aacond reading <br />it will be aoa'nded to include all riders not only North Olmsted residents. <br />Mr. Reis, 4k29 Canterbury Rd., discussed CZ rk•~.n's rs~{u+ast for r:soning. <br />asked what Council's attitude would be toward proposal; coaewmtted on petition <br />he had signed by residents who are against the reaaning and gave reasons <br />why they are against the rezoning; also asked if the petition would be <br />good for future proposals. Mr. West said proposal was turned daaa by <br />planning C~uission sad it has not been submitted to Council. Until the <br />proposal is submitted to the Engineering Dept. and in turn, turned over <br />to Council there is no further action on it. Mr. bleat explsin~l that <br />until Council revises the proposal no attitude can be forssd; the petition <br />can be presented to Council paw.
