Council Minutes of April 4, 1972 <br />-4- <br />Resolution :to. 72-39 c~*as introduced by Mr. Giesser and given its first reading. <br />A Resolution accepting for record purposes only the Sandy Ridge Subdivision <br />No. 9. <br />Resolution No. 72-40 was introduced by Mr. Boehmer and liven its first <br />reading. A Resolution accepting for record purposes only the Jamestown <br />Village Apartments Subdivision No. 1. <br />Resolution No. 72-41 Y•*as introduced by Mr. Giesser and piv®n its first <br />reading. A Resolution accepting for record purposes only the tdest River <br />Land Companies Consolidation Plat. <br />Resolution No. 72-42 lass introduced by Mr. Boehmer. A Resolution objecting <br />to the application of !dorthern Crown, Inc., dba Dori-~~atic in coaforce <br />~•rith the provisions of O.R.G. 4303.261 and further due to "suitability of <br />location", and declaring an urgency. Mr. poehmer moved for suspension <br />of rule requiring; three separate readings, seconded by Atr. Limpert. Affir- <br />mative vote Boehmer, Limpert, Prokasy, Saringer, Speedling. Abstained: <br />Giesser. Mr. Boehmer moved for adoption of Resolution, set~ded by i~ir. <br />Limpert. P•ir. Giesser stated he is abstaining from voting because he has <br />had dealings in his law practice with this organisation. Roll Call on <br />adoption: Affirmative vote Boehmer, Limpert, Prokasy, Saringer, Speedling. <br />Abstained: Giesser. Motion carried. <br />Under New t3usineas: <br />Mrs. Saringer requested Lava lrirector draft an ordinance for purpose of <br />regulating air conditioning systems calling for 60 decibels ~a~sured at <br />the property 1?ne; also, legislation revising Oxdinance 2746, Chapter <br />1321.03. <br />Regarding air conditioning systems ordinance, *dr. Limpert suggested the <br />following change: checks at 4 hour intervals for more accuracy and <br />explained his reasons. <br />President O'Neill referred into Mr. Giesser`s Legislation Committee <br />information regarding Cable T.V. for further study. <br />.ir. Sneedlin~ requested legislation setting age limit, fares and specified <br />times for reduced rates for ;olden age riderrs on bus line. <br />Mr. Lampert requested Mayor Christman to check into status of trailer in <br />used car lot of Parker Reynolds tahich appears to be in use as a sales <br />office regarding special permit, etc. <br />Mr. Limpert moved to excuse the absence of 1rir. Jest. Motion was seconded <br />by r~zr. Giesser. Affirmative vote Boehmer, Giesser, Limpert, Prokasy, <br />Saringer, SpeedlinQ. ~3otion carried. <br />Mr. Boehmer moved that meeting be adjourned, seconded by Air.
