Council Minutes of April 4, 1972 _~ <br />i3r. Speedling stated he had a meeting with the City :engineer, a represen- <br />tative of Decker Rd. residents and C.E.I. last week and was advised that <br />the controlling factor here is the developer and builder. They are the <br />ones who bear the cost of anything other than the norma3. overhead line. <br />Engineering Dept. and C.E.I. are in pracess of setting up a meeting with <br />developer and builder to discuss eases. <br />People addressing Council: <br />tar. Delmar Ernest, 30146 Lorain Road, discussed proposed development <br />of Sealtest property, developas3nt of whole area for City complex calth <br />Mr. Speedling. Mr. Ernest feels this is an admirable thing for City <br />to do and feels a City complex will upgrade Lorain Rd. car2siderably. <br />Mr. Richard Spaeth, 2$873 Tudor Drive, discussed the Brookpark Extension, <br />development on north side of Brookpark & Lorain Rds., recommsadation of <br />Planning Commission pertaining Chereto, and asked Council's thoughts on <br />the matter. Mr. Prokasy detailed original pronasal and discussed proposal <br />recently rejected. ~tx. Giesser stated the B.Z.&D. Committee has given <br />developer a short period of time in which to come in with original proposal. <br />T'Ir. Spaeth, representing t~Jest Park Forest Ridge Assn., discussed the <br />further extension of Brookaark. <br />'qtr. Jack Richards, Holly Drive, discussed Broot~park Extension and asked <br />if developer has made nay proposals to Council or Planning Comes3.ssion. <br />Mayor Christman said developer is in pracess of setting up a meeting caith <br />B.Z. ~ D. Committee of Council. Also feels the action of Gouncil to take <br />one more try at getting original proposal is warranted as basic idea was <br />good. <br />LEGISLATIO:'V: <br />Resolution No. 72-4 introduced by Mr. Nest was given its third readang. <br />A Resolution accepting for xecord purposes only the Blossaa Dover <br />Sv' 's~-ision No. 1. Mr. Boehmer moved for adoption of Resolution, seconded <br />by :.... Giesser. Affirmative vote Boehmer, Giesser, Lampert, Prokaay, <br />Saringer, Sneedling. Motion carried. <br />Resolution No. 72-36 introduced by rig. F7est Baas given its second reading. <br />A Resolution accepting far record purposes only the E. F. Dais Subdivision. <br />Ordinance No. 72-37 case introduced by ttr. Lampert. An Ordinance authorising <br />a supplemental agreesient between the Northeast Ohio Area~ride Coordinating <br />Agency (VOACA) and the City of North Ql~ted, authorising continuation of <br />participation by ~iorth Olmsted in the NOACA Program for the Seven-Ccsznty <br />Region, and declaring; an emergency. *ir. LimPert moved for sumpension of <br />rule rec~uirin¢ three separate readings, seconded by Mr. Boehmer. Affir- <br />mation vote: Boehmer, Giesser, Lampert, Prokasy, Speedlin;.
