(Reason: Mr. Boehmer is in business serving alcoholic beverages) <br />2 Yeas - 3 Naps - 1 Abstained. Motion defeated. Res. No. 73-157 received its <br />first reading. <br />Under Old Business: <br />Mr. Lampert referred to Committee to serve on Recreation Development. Presidesnt <br />O'Neill stated he will announce the Council Members to serve on that Committee <br />under New Business. <br />President O'Neill addressed Mr. Steer in audience, stating hs had consulted with <br />the Mayor regarding Mr. Sr•:~er's question and the Mayor has directed thin be in- <br />vetigated and give report. <br />Under New Business: <br />President O'Neill stated the two Council Members of the City Legislative Body <br />who will work on Committee for Recreation Development will be Mrs. Saringer and <br />Mr. Giesser. <br />Mr. Lampert referred to sidearaiks in front of Butternut Cemetexq in deplorable <br />condition - estimate of $2,400. for repair and reque®ted this matter be put <br />into Committee on sidewalks for tNext year's budget. Mr. Prokasy stated his <br />Committee is waiting report from Engineering Department involving overall side- <br />walk repair prograts wherein residents and City repairs sidewalks. <br />Mr. Lampert referred to the three departing Members of Council and requested <br />resolutions of commesndation far their dedicated time and service. Mr. Limgert <br />extended appreciation to Law Director Kitchen and City Engineer Rarhan for the <br />cooperation received from them. <br />Mr. Prokasy thanked Council end Administration for cooperation and courtee~ies <br />extended to him. Hopes to see Recreation Complex become a reality as well as <br />the formation of regional complex for drainage. <br />Mr. Boehmer thanked Council and Administration for cooperation received and <br />courtesies extended to him. <br />Mr. Speedling thanked all riembers of Council for their cooperation and extended <br />appreciation to the Administration and City forces. <br />President O'Neill thanked Psembers of Council and Members of Administrative Body <br />of City for their excellent cooperation extended over the years. <br />Mr. Lampert moved to excuse absence of Mr. West, seconded by Mr. Boehmer. <br />Affirmative vote: Boehmer, Giesler, Lampert, Prokasy, Saringer, Speedling. <br />Motion carried. <br />Mr. Prokasy moved for ad~ourna~st, seconded by Mr. Boehmer.
