Council Minutes of 11-20-73 _6_ <br />Ordinance No. 73-146 was introduced by Mr. Giessen and given its first -reading.- <br />An Ordinance amending Part 13, entitled, "Building-~.aeHs"; fiitle One, entitled, <br />"R~esid~tial Staz~3ards", Chapter 1301, entitled "Regional Dwelling Code, adopted <br />Section 1301.05, entitled "~ndmants to Regional welling House Gode", Paragraph E. <br />Under Old Business: Mr. West referred to let tar from Mayor asking Council's <br />wishes on former testing building located is The Mall in Shopping Canter. Feels <br />it is as ideal building soul aaskaa~t if builder has to be moored or can it be located <br />there. Mayor said this will have to he datarar3.ued. Use of building as a teen <br />center was discussed; reanrdaling, etc, Mr. Wass suggested if this building is <br />not satisfactory for a teen canter, it could be gut in back of City Hall for a <br />combined Department of Hus~t Resources. <br />President O'Neill referred subject to Recreation, Public Parka & Building Committee <br />and Finance Committee. <br />Mr. Prokasq, as Chairman of Recreation, Public Parks & Building Committee, requested <br />the Mayor to investigate possibilitiea for location of the building; and that the <br />Recreation Commission be asked to make some reco~,esedations on its usage. <br />Under New Business: Mr. Speadling referred to Sunday Closing Laws in view of <br />energy crisis. Mayor Christman stated the 1870 blue laws have been repealed. <br />Mr. Prokasy requested legislation for sidewalks on Sparky Lane -have petition <br />signed by more than 60z of property owners. <br />Mr. West discussed planting of trees and Aching program. <br />Mr. Giesler moved to excuse absence of Mr. Limpert, seconded by Mr. West. Affir- <br />mative vote: Boehmer, Giessen, Prokasy, Beringer, Speedling, West. Motion carried. <br />Mr. Boehmer moved for adjournmamt, secoaeded by Mr. West.
