Council Minutes of Map 15, 19T3. <br />-S- <br />installed along the commcm property line. Discussion conti~ed, regarding <br />cleaning of street, sewers, etc. <br />Mr. Limpert commented on drainage on Edgepark and discussed sane with Service <br />Director Caster. <br />Mrs. Beringer referred to sidewalks and sod on Stoneybrook and asked w~ten this <br />will be started. Service Director Canter said contract has been approved and <br />should be started within next week or so. <br />Mrs. Beringer requested that legislation regarding ice cream venders previously <br />asked for be referred into Legislation Cossiittee. <br />Fresident O'Neill referred same to Mr. Giesser, Chairman Intra Governmental <br />Relations & Legislation Committee. <br />Mr. Boehmer referred to request of Mr. West for street light at end of Silverdale. <br />Mr. Boehmer and Mr. Carnahn inspected this and other areas and it is the recairra~n- <br />dation there should be two lights - one at Silverdale and one at Selhurst. In <br />other locations it is the recomremmendaton a light should be at Byron Drive and <br />Root Rd. These items will be brought up at Finance Committee meeting. <br />Under New Business: <br />Mr. Speedling discussed the deterioration of McEenxie Road. County Engineer is <br />holding up co~lete repaving until 14~ is through which could be quite same <br />time. In the meantime something has to be done. <br />Mr. Speedling moved that Council go on record as requesten$ the County Sagineers <br />to make issmediate repairs to McKenzie Road, secondsct by Mr. West. Affrwative <br />vote: Boehmer, Giesser, Lampert, Prokasy, Beringer, Speedling, West. Motion <br />carried. <br />Mr. Speedling requested the culvert on So. Porter Y,d. be checked. Pieces of <br />concrete are missing, sidewalk is going down and fence is falling into ravine. <br />Service Director Caster said Engineering Department has report pending on that <br />culvert. <br />Mr. Speedling requested Safety Committee to look at lighting situation on Decker, <br />Porter, South Porter and Burns Roads for recommendation as to additional street <br />lighting. <br />Mr. Boehmer scheduled a meeting with Mr. Speedling regarding his request on <br />May 21, 1973. <br />President O'Neill has received letters from Miss Mary Joe Walsh and Miss Janet <br />Olenik, students of St . t4~ugus tine Academy, relative to transportation to the <br />school. Clerk will refer copies of letters to Mr. Speedling, Chairman Tramam~porta- <br />tion Committee, for review. <br />Mr. Lampert asked for an esti~mmated cost of installing catch basin at corner of <br />Dover Bad Lorain Rosd$. Service Director Caster will have information at Haut <br />Council Meeting. <br />
