Chief Hird is going to da further ixtvestigati~n anti <br />report back to President O'Neill. <br />LEGISLATION: <br />Ordinance No. 72-198 introduced by Mr. Speedling was given its third reading. <br />An Ordinance authorizing the Building Coeaai.ssioner to proceed with the demo-- <br />litian ar removal of the dc~tllings an pera~tnent parcel too. 235-1I-36, Lorain <br />Road, North Olmsted, Ohio. Mr. Speedling moved for adoption of Ordinance, <br />seconded by Mr. Giesser. Affirmative vale Boehmer, Giesser, Li~apert, <br />Prokasy, Saringer, Speedling, {des t. Motion carried. Ord. No. 72 -198 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 73-1 was introduced by Mr. Lirnpert. An Ordin~ce to make <br />appropriations for current expenses and other expenditur~a for the City of <br />North Olmsted, Ohio, for the year ending Dece~er 31, 197'3. Mr. L#~iprt <br />moved for suspension of rule requiring three separate readings, seconded by <br />Mr. West. Affirmative vote Boehmer, Giesser, Limpert, Prokasy, 8ariar, <br />Speedling, tdest. Mr. Limpert moved for adoption of Ordittsnce, eact~nded by <br />Mr. West. Affirmative vase Boehmer, Giesser, Li~rt, Prakasq, 8aringer, <br />Speedling, West. Motion carried. Ord. No. 73-1 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 73-2 was introduced by Mr. Limpert and given its firsC reading. <br />A Resolution directing the Auditor of Cuyahoga County to pap to the City of <br />North .Olmsted, Ohio during the year 1973, all tax money due and osaiug said <br />City from any collection source. <br />Ordinance No. 73'3 was introduced by Mr. Giesser and given its first reading. <br />An Ordinance approving the editing and inclusion of certain ordinances as <br />parts of the various component codes of the Codified Ordinances of North <br />Olmsted, Ohio. <br />Under Old Business: <br />Mr. Lampert asked Service Director Caster if it would be possible to notify <br />owners of the lots near the culvert at Burns Rd. and Porter Rd. to c2e~.r <br />the lots of heavy foliage far safety. Service Director Caster said the <br />owners have been notified. <br />Mr. West asked Mayor Christman when bids will be taken on the new Police <br />Station; also if negotiations for the service atatioa hss bees ccxs~leted. <br />Mayor Christman stated City is ar~aitinp final specifications on the police <br />station which are not complete. Regarding service station this has now <br />been transferred to the City. <br />Under New Business: <br />Mr. C~Test moved that Council. appoint a President Pro Tam for year 1973 and <br />nominated Mr. Speedling. Lotion was sect~ded by tar. Prokasy. President <br />O'Neill asked for azty other nominations. There being no other nominations <br />President O'Neill declared nominations cloned and a unanimotu~ vats was cast <br />for Mr. Speedling. <br /> <br /> <br />
