Demolition was supposed to <br />have beezZ s+.arted in February sad State has rescheduled to March. T«e8e <br />houses .are unoccupied, sub3ect to vandalism, etc. aed Mr. Li~ert feels <br />that removal should be lone as soon as possible and City staould not let <br />the State procrastinate on r~aval of these hoses. Lengthy discussion <br />ensued as to condeuucation p'e~c+tx'!, etc. It was pofnted out that con- <br />de~ation proceedings have been started on two houatea and it is presently <br />in the 90 day waiting period.. Maacr Care was also discussed. Mayor <br />Christmas to check with Building Coempissioner Gundy. <br />President O'Neill asked Safety Director Car>ahan if police have been successful <br />in apprehending any of the people that are running over tzee lawns a~ front <br />lawns this time of the year. Safety Director Carnahan stated this ia~ difficult <br />to do. This type of damage is not done when police cars sate around. Mayor <br />Christman stated some have been apprehended, but they are very difficult to <br />catch. <br />Mr. West moved that meting be adjourned, seconded by Mr. Boeh~x.
