<br />Council Minutes of 12-17-74 -4- <br />would certainly like to see the City retain the mini bus service or a similar <br />type service and would like to assure Mr. Goggin that as a Member of the <br />Transportation Committee Mr. Wila*osky will do whatever he can where it is <br />economically feasible to retain that service in this community. <br />President O'Neill stated before meeting is opened to general public would like <br />Mr. Malchus to introduce his 4roup. Mr. Malchus introduced ~~Sebelo Graup from <br />Cub Pack 52 who are working on citizenship. Council recognized Cub Pack 52. <br />President O'Neill recognized group of students from high school -American <br />Government Class. Council recognized this group. <br />People Addressing Council: <br />Mrs. D. :ioore, 6679 Maplehurst Rd., addressed Mayor and Safety Director regarding <br />events following fire in hex garage in catu~ction with investigation of same. <br />Matter was discussed by the Mayor and Safety Director. <br />Mr. Clifford Crabbs, 25575 Butternut Ridge Rd., addressed Council with respect <br />to status of rezoning of Hoare Links Golf Course in Township; population density <br />of Treataent Plant being desigt-ed for 12 ~ople per acre; sire of sewer in <br />area of Home Links Golf Course; Watershed District area; contracts; what approval <br />if any, was given by North Opted regarding aawunt of sewage to be accepted; <br />agreement to accept sewage from s developassnt in Fairview; discussion with Crystal <br />Springs Park people for accepting additional sewage; zoning in other political <br />subdivisions; increase in valuaee of Treatmea-t Plant. The Mayor, Mr. Giesser and <br />Mr. Wilamosky discussed same. Mr. Giesler requested Law Director Gareau for a <br />legal opinion with respect to what prerogatives and what things the City has <br />over the Township developmeaat With respect to 12 units per acre in our Treatarent <br />Plant. Law .Director to review sane and give his opinion. Mr. Crabbs addressed <br />Council regarding the hiring of a consultant to review work that has bees done <br />at the Tzeatne~at Plant and suggested h#.ring a College Professor and gave reasons <br />therefor. Mr. Crabbs also addressed Council with respect to ordinances in other <br />cities :egazding no smoking in Council Chambers and suggested City might want to <br />consider same. <br />Mr. John Fairfield, 5059 De•~on Drive, addressed Council at length with respect <br />to the financial status of our bus line and gave his suggestions to try to offset <br />the deficit - would like to retain the mini bus service if at all possible; fees <br />the rate of fare should be increased, etc. <br />LEGISLA^"ION <br />Resolution No. 74-151 introduced by Mr. Giesser was given its third reading. <br />A Resolution accepting for recording purposes only Brendan Woods Subdivision <br />in the City of Forth Ola3sted. Mx. Giesser n~ovad for adoption, seconded by <br />Mrs. Beringer. Affirmative vote: Giesser, Goggin, Limpert, Saringer, Sharpe, <br />CJilaaiosky. Motion carried. Res. No. 74-151 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 74-153 introduced by Mr. West was gives its third reading. An <br />Ordinance authorizing the issuance of notes in anticipation of the issuance of <br />bolds for the purpose of providing funds for the acquisition of real estate <br />needed for the extension of Br~kpark Road, and declaring an e~Ygrsacy. Mr. <br />Giesser moved for adoption, seconded by Mr. Liaapert. Affirmative vote: Giesser, <br />Goggin, Lampert, Saringer, Sharpe, ~tilamosky. Motion carried. Ord. No. 74-153 <br />adopted. <br />
