~. <br />..•' <br />Council Minutes of 12-17-74 -7- <br />Ordinance No. 74-170 was introduced by Mr. Limpsrt and given its first reading. <br />' An Ordinance authorizing the issuance of bonds for the purpose of paying the <br />City's portion of the cost of improving Columbia Road and certain other streets <br />and easements by constructing sanitary sewers, sewer curb com~etions and <br />necessary appurtenances, including a sewap,,e lift station and farce main, <br />necessary street resurfacing and restoration of drainage facilities (Contract <br />Nos. 15 and 16) and declaring an emergency. <br />Mr. Lin~ert moved thst the Finance Director furnish Fiscal Officer's Certificate <br />in connection with Ord. No. 74-T7i, seconded by Mr. Wilamosky. Affirmative <br />vote: Giesser, Coggin, Limlaert, Beringer, Sharpe, Wilamosky. Finance Director <br />Gerlach furnished Fiscal Officer's Certificate. <br />Ordinance No. 74-171 was introduced by Mr. Limpert and given its first reading. <br />An Ordinance authorizing the issuance of hoods for the purpose of providing <br />funds for the purchase of motorized equipment for the Service Department, and <br />declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 74-172 was introduced by Mr. Limpert and given its first reading. <br />An Ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the Govern- <br />mental Research Institute for the purpose of providing a statistical analysis <br />of the Police and Fire Departments of the City of North Olmsted in comparison <br />with other camlaunities located in Cuyahoga County. <br />Ordinance No. i4-173 was introduced by Mr. Limpert and given its first reading. <br />An Ordinance fixing the rates of fare for transportation service on the North <br />Olmsted Municipal Bus Line on and atter~February 3, 1975, repealing Ordinance <br />No. 74-34 enacted March i9, 1974, and declaring an emergency. <br />Under Old Business: <br />Mrs, Saringer, for the benefit of Mr. Wasmir now present in audience, reiterated <br />what transpired with her Coese3.ttee in connection with Res. No. 74-1b3: Committee <br />decided to go ahead with the pollution abateesent burner and gave reasons therefor. <br />Under New Business: <br />Mr. Lampert referred to suggestion of no smoking in Council Chambers and <br />suggested referral to Committee. <br />President O'Neill referred same to Mr. Wilamosky, Chairman Intra Governmental <br />Relations & Legislation Co~i.ttee. <br />Mrs. Sharpe moved to excuse absence of Mr. West, seconded by Mr. Giesser. <br />Affirmative vote: Giesser, Coggin, Lampert, Saringer, Sharpe, idilamosky. <br />Motion carried. <br />*irs. Saringer moved for ad3ournment, seconded by Mx. Coggin. Affirmative vote: <br />Giesser, Coggin, Lampert, Saringer, Sharpe, Wilamasl~.
