Heartening to
receive because in '73 rece~.ved a flat turndown with stet. t that it was a
good application but no ffioney available and if City ~rould wssatt to r t same
to do so; which City did. Out of the I1 it looks as if 2 may have scs-e possibilities
for approval;
2) Lorain Road traffic lights - program has been under con:;;rxct for close to a year;
in preparation for about 3 years - is drawing to a close. All of the equ t is
finally in. It is not timed yet but hopefully will be shortly and ready For
acceptance;
3) would like to request Council action ofi Ord. The distance in running the easements for the utilities ie much lass from
Canterbury; negotiated the location of it and there is money in the project cost
for payment. Would like to ask Council to consider these pieces of legislation
on emergency.
Service Director Caster repoxted following: 1) on bus survey that was conducted
last Thursday. Felt there was an unusual turnout - good response. Good c nts
for the bus line. The negative aspect of the camarents were against regional
transit especially the poss~.biiity that CTS would be in control of it;
2) Treatment Plant - had reported out that a new burner had been installed. The
burner had pxoved ins€ficient. Anew burner asseablq was sent last Friday which
did not fit present housing.
