There was a discr~ancy on the surveying and one lot <br />turned out to be uxrdersised because of the inadequacy of the surveyor. Since C`hsn <br />the owner had received a varian+ca on tics one parcel and present parcel is 51.88 ft. <br />and Committee reviewed it and legislation is on arganda recoswendng this rcyval; <br />4} B.Z.&D. Rini would amount to $104,000. The architect's <br />total recossandation has ixw up with a building and construction cost of $2,548.694. <br />which 1-T ings the total projeet to complstion with land purchase, etc. at $3.,362,218. <br />It was the opinion of the C+~eerittee that these figures bs turned over to a finahcial <br />analyst who warke with City with rsspsct to our bonded indebtedness and by the <br />middle of next week we will be recefvit~g word back Stating how aruch ae can go ahead <br />with and his recommendations. Comsittee will not ask for a motion to accept bids <br />tonight; but wi11 be calling a Special Meeting of Council to accept the bids if <br />that is the wish of Council. Reas+~n: Haut Council Meeting will be held on Mc~ve~aber <br />6, 1974, which will be 29 days after the bids were opened and the requirea~ant <br />is that theq stay firm for 30 days. This is cutting it pretty tight and believes <br />everyone is is agreement to hold a Special Council Meeting. <br />
