Council Minutes of ZO-1-74 <br />-5- <br />Wilamosky. Affirmative vote: ~ggin, Beringer, Sharpe, West, Wilamosky. <br />Negative vote: Giessen, Li~ert. 5 Yeas - 2 Nays - Motion carried. <br />People Addressing Council: <br />Mr. Bob Beehtei, 4538 Kew Drive, addressed Council pertaining to the Brookpark <br />Extension and traffic problem. Lengthy discussion ensued. <br />Alice Roberts, 33b7 Cleans #~d., ~l of Ohio Bell Telephone C y addressed <br />Council pertaining to Res. No. 74-3,29 rich opposes Ohio BellTeleph~e rate <br />increase. 1~. Roberts gave a presentation on the facts regarding sB~te increase <br />received by tRiio Bell; explaix-ed the F.C.C. and Public Utilities Carsa~saion of <br />Ohio with respect to rate increase; also rate of return of Ohio Bail; pointing <br />out discrepancies in the resolution. Invited Council to visit the Spring Region <br />Office and to seriously consider all aspect8 before voting. <br />Mr. Tom Krell, 18645 Detroit Rd., esplayee 3xi Sewage Treatment Plat, addressed <br />Council pertaining to Ord. No. 74-135 ~ieh ca11s for creation of a Gheaist. <br />Mr. Andrew Nysley, resident of City also eaployee of Ohio Bell Telephone Company, <br />addressed Council asking Co~uicil to fully study Res. No. 74-129 before voting on <br />sands. <br />Mr. West commented on Res. No. 74-129 and thanked Ohio Belt ee~'rloyees for appearing <br />and suggested the Coam<i.ttee would ask the people to come to a Comsittee Ming <br />and talk as is done on every other thing. Feels it is obvious the legislation is <br />not correct and should be revised. President O'Neill stated it is on second reading <br />tonight and can be amended as late as next meeting for any corrections or deletions. <br />Mr. John Fairfield, 5059 Devon Drive, addressed Council with many questions regarding <br />all aspects of the Brookpark Extension, including developers, State of Ohio, <br />limited access. Lengthy discussion ensued. <br />Mr. Sparky DeBenedetto, developer, addressed Council and Administration regarding <br />entire picture of Brookpark Extension. <br />Mr. Joseph Corrigan, b369 Brighton Drive, addressed Council and Adainistration <br />pertaining to the Brookpark Extension and probleaaa that exist in detail. Discussion <br />ensued. <br />Mrs. Marilyn Danrm, 23429 Marion Rd., addressed Council regarding street resurfacing <br />of Marion and feels the fob should be finished. Same was discussed. Also commended <br />Mrs. Beringer for gresenting petitions of her constituents. <br />Mr. David Weber, Woodpark Lane, addressed Council and Administration pertaining <br />to three proposed routes of Route 611. Discussion continued. <br />Mr. Alas Case, 29904 Camridge, employee of Ohio Bell Telephone Co., addressed <br />Council regarding Res. No. 74-129. <br />Mr. Giessen referred to Brookparlc Extension stating he along with Mr. Gareau <br />tried to clarify the City's intent to proceed immediately with the relocation <br />of Brookpark Rd. by a resolution stating that the City of North Ol,~ted in <br />conjunction with Mr. Biskind and Mr. Shur - Great Northern Partnership - would <br />
