Motion seconded by Mr. Coggin. <br />Affirmative vote: Giesaer, Coggin, Lispert, Beringer, Sharpe, West, Wil~aky. <br />Motion carried. <br />4) The Legislation Committee has also sos~ht out North OLested Attorneys to <br />represent indigent defe~ndamts far caress originating in the City of 19orth Olasted. <br />The following attorneys have vehmtesred their services to repras~t indigents <br />in Rocky River Municipal Court: 'Paul Cutler; Bdward Rose; Joseph Reynolds; <br />John S. Th~ay and Thomas P. McIntyre. Mr. Wil~wsky believes Council should <br />express gratitude to them by req~tittg the Clerk to submit letters af. gratitude <br />to attornegs Waned; and than to forward a letter na~eing these attorneys to the <br />Clerk and Judges of Rocky River 1'~icipal Court; <br />5) Committee along with the Law D#.rsctor dfacussed ~d reviewed the printing <br />of the General Offenses Code aetd the Triffic Coda which was printed by Walter <br />H. Drape Co. It is the opinion of the Ckm~ittae and the Law Z'fepartment that <br />the printing, numbering, etc. is a~ccmrpta~-ls and Ord. Nas. 74-123 and 74-124 <br />are on agenda. Mr. Wilaelosky e~ladried the two ordinances . The Committee <br />recommends adoption of both ordinaacsa. <br />President O'Neill asked Mr. Wilaa~rosky if he wanted Res. No. 74-125 referred <br />back to Committee for a chaff in ~rding or su®stion. Mr. Wilamoskq asked <br />that Res. No. 74-I2S be sent back to Committee. <br />President O'Neill asked for a m~oti~n to amend the agenda to remove Res. No. 74-125 <br />at which time he will refer it back into Committee. <br />Mr. West moved that Res. No. 74-125 bs removed from agenda, seconded by Mr. <br />Coggin. Affirmative vote: Giessen, Coggin, Lampert, Beringer, Sharpe, West, <br />Wilamosky. Motion carried. <br />Mrs. Sharpe, Chairman Pudic Sa~Eety, Health b Welfare Committee, reported this <br />Commmittee met and reviewed the foilcrwing: 1) application for a C-1 and C-2 permit <br />to Thurmsn F. Donnelly b Richard U13.sh~ dba Convenient Food Mart, 23555 Lorain <br />Rd. Coamd.ttee has no ab~ectioss to these applications; <br />2) application for a C-1 pest to Theodore R1zk dba Rink Pine Tree Beverage, <br />23239 Lorain Rd. Committee has no ~~ections to this application; <br />3) application for a C-1 pererit to Nor Mar Beverage, Inc. dba Towne Club, 25044 <br />Lorain Rd. Ccmm~i.ttee has no objection to this application; <br />4) application for a D-5 permit to Sol Shur, Great Northern Shopping Center, <br />5091 The Mall. A letter was sent to Mr. Gary Jones, Chief Permit Division, <br />State of Ohio, Dept. of Liquor Control, stating the Public Safety, Health & <br />Welfare Committee of North Olmstead City Council is requesting a hearing an the <br />advisability of the issuance of said permit because the address shown by applicant <br />SoI Shur at 5091 the Mall, Great Northam Shopping Center is the Westinghouse <br />Credit Corporation office. Are awaiting a hearing on this application; <br />S) scheduled a Public Safety, Health A Welfare Committee Meeting on September 10, <br />1474, 9:00 P.M., City Ra11, and requested the Safety Director and Fire Chief to <br />be in attendance. <br />President O'Neill referred to articles in paper relating to conditi~s that <br />existed in yard of a resident and asked if aam- action has been taken.
