° Council Minutes of 7-2-74 <br />-3- <br />Country Club Extension will be paid for out of developer's pocket and not by the <br />City. Motion seconded by Mr. Went. Affiramtive vote: Giessen, Goggin, Lampert, <br />Beringer, Sharpe, West, Wilsawsky-. Motion carried. <br />Mr. Giesler scheduled a B.Z. i4 D. Committee meeting and a ILecreataon, Public Parks <br />~ Building Committee meeting on July 10, 1974, 4:00 P.M., City Ha11. <br />Mr. Giesler reported that the buaiding dated by the Shopping Center to the City <br />located in the Shopping Mall asv~a is aired is being used far a teen canter <br />in the evening sad for a Goldea Age ter during the daytime. Coaoattee asked Mr. Miner to gait until the <br />Committee was more assured of 1974 appropriations. Cataattes would like Mr. Miner <br />to attend a Finance Caeemd.ttee luting on July 22, 1974, 8:15 P.M. , Caucus Itowm, <br />City Hall. <br />Mr. Wilamosky, Chairman Intra Governwe~rtal Relations 6 Legislation Caaeaittee, <br />reported following: 1) Council acted swiftly at last Council Meeting in passing <br />legislation to restore Bridge 22. Apparently information supplied was ancoarplete <br />and have since received cc>~unication asking for additional legislation which is <br />on agenda. <br />Mr. West, Chairman Transportation Committee, reported Comwittee met on June 25th <br />and reviewed following: 1) discussed again with Cwsoittee and r~adent represen- <br />tative the stop sagas at Brendan Lane and Reed Drive; and amended Ord. No. 74-6b <br />which is on agenda; <br />2) discussed recomaaendatfons that had been made with regard to providing safety <br />crossing device for children going to recreation area at Pine Spool and at Claque <br />Park. Ccn~ittee agreed and shitted to Finance Coeaaittee and to the Sef`aty <br />Director for his action the establishment of guards at Dowr Center Rd. hear Fine <br />School and at Ciague Rd. at Claque Park to protect the children going to and from <br />the rec centers; <br />3) also discussed proposed Walkways along I-4~0 -one Which We haw pr and <br />the State has under advisement to provide a Walkway frog Burns Rd. to tie high <br />school; ffid another is from Fitch to Revere Rd. Committee agreed that these were <br />excellent ideas that should be accomplished; <br />4) met with the officers of vsricws hoasowaers associations on July 1, 1974, to <br />discuss the Brookpark Bactetwri~on; the traffic situation that pertains to Dever <br />Center Rd. and near the shopping center and also on Forth Park.
