Committee has no objections to these implications; <br />2) re request for litter container on northeast corner of Elmhurst Rd. -- thanked <br />Mr. Weldon for doing same; <br />3) Received calls from residents on Palm Drive regarding large chunks of mud in <br />street where three hots are being built. R+equeated Mr. Caster to deck this out <br />and have Service Dept. remove mud or else have builder clean up street. <br />Clerk read letter from Secretary of Boards and Comtaissions bringing to the <br />attention of Council various regt~sts and recom®endations of Planning Commisaion. <br />People addressintx Council: <br />Mr. Dave Rovach, 5~~8 Whitehaven, addressed Council on Regional Transit speaking <br />in favor of same. <br />Mr. Richard Spaeth, 28$73 Tudor Drive, addressed Council on following subjects: <br />semi trailers parked on empty lots on Lorain Rd.; report of Law Director Gareau <br />concerning lawsuit; Resolution of necessity for Broakpark Extension and requested <br />this not be passed on emergency; Stearns Road Extension; Recreation Center. <br />Mr. Bill Bruton, Rew Drive, addressed Council on following subjects: Brookpark <br />Bxtension with request that it not be passed on emergency; Mr. West`s fact sheet <br />on Stearns Road; whether land has been purchased for Recreation Center; Recreational <br />Complex; remote reading device on water testers. <br />Mr. Tots Doroney, 5948 Burns Rd., addressed Cauncil regarding sewer that runs <br />under his driveway and garage which: also involves property of Mx. Crock. Dis- <br />cussion ensued. <br />Mrs. Joyce McIntyre, 6759 Warrington Drive, addressed C:ouac~.l regarding proposal <br />of Junior Warrens Club to rent Community Cabin for pur~;o a of haatag bingo games. <br />Mrs. McIntyre spoke in behalf of the Club and referred i:~ litter sent to Council; <br />legal opinion rendered by Laiw Director Gareau, and co~u~ications with the lb-yor, <br />and asked for COna@naus of Council. It was pointed out that the prevailing feeling <br />of Council is that there should be no gambling, including bingo, at the Community <br />Cabin. Under New Business Mayor will ask for a motion by Council. <br />Mr. Michael Violi, 4510 Dover Center Rd., asked Council Members to offer a <br />rationale for their opinion. All Council Members, as well as President of Council <br />stated their reasons. <br />Mr. Dave Rovach, Whitehaven Ave., addressed Law Director Gareau regarding legal <br />obligations to all other non profit organizations. <br />Mr. Richard Spaeth, Tudor Drive, stated he agrees with Council. <br />Mr. Bill Gilbert, addressed Council referring to restrictions on Cabin property. <br />Mr. Delmar Ernest, 30106 Lorain Rd., addressed Council regarding wording on ballot <br />in connection with Steams Rd. <br />Mr. George Wasmer, 23347 Mastick R,d., addressed Council and Ad~dnie~tration regarding <br />obnoxious odor from Sewage Plant. Problems were discussed at length. <br />
