<br />1974, and discussed following items: 1) Grasce.Manor Apartments request for an
<br />easement for maintenance and installation of water; approved by Committee and
<br />legislation is on agenda; 2) re plans for Cardinal Savings & Loan Assn. There
<br />are a number of problems regarding this develap~aent and Committee will have a
<br />further meeting with representatives from Cardinal on January 24, 1974; 3) dis-
<br />cussed updating of parking requirements in a number of areas a~ad will review
<br />further with Building Commissioner.
<br />Mr. Giesser scheduled a B.Z.& D. Committee meeting on January 24, 1974, 7:00 P.M.,
<br />City Hall; and a Recreation, Public Parks b Building Committee meeting on January
<br />24, 1974, 7:30 P.M., City Ha11.
<br />Mr. Giesser reported the Recreation Commission met last week and appointed two
<br />representatives to study the Recreation Complex. Members are Mr. Barkhurst and
<br />Mr. Koontz. Meeting set up for this Committee on January 21, 1974, 8:00 P.M.,
<br />City Hall.
<br />Mr. Limpert, Chairman Finance Committee, reported he has received requests from
<br />Police and Fire Departments in regard to wage negotiations for 1974. Answer has
<br />been given that Committee will set date to meet with them in near future.
<br />Mr. Wilamosky, Chairman Intro Governmental Relations & Legislation Committee,
<br />reported Committee met on 3anuary 7, 1974; all Committee Members as well as
<br />Mayor Christman, Council President O'Neill and Mr. Giesser in attendance. First
<br />order of business Committee took up were requests b, Mayor far appointments.
<br />1) appointment of Mr. Donald Ledvina to serve on Board of Zoning Appeals term to
<br />expire 12/31/78. Committee recommends approval.
<br />Mr. Wilamosky moved that Council approve the appointment of Mr. Ledvina to Board
<br />of Zoning Appeals, seconded by Mr. Lia~ert. Affirmative vote: Giesser, Goggin,
<br />Limpert, Saringer, Sharpe, West, t,Tilamosky. Motion carried.
<br />2) appointment of Mr. John Grady to Civil Service Commission - term to expire
<br />12/31/79. Committee recommends approval.
<br />Mr. Wilamosky moved that Council approve the appointment of Mr. John Grady to
<br />the Civil Service Commission, seconded by Mr. West. Affirmative vote: Giesser,
<br />Goggin, Lampert, Saringer, Sharpe, West, Wilamosky. Motion carried.
<br />3) reappointment of Mr. Irwin Seidel to serve on Board of Building Code Appeals -
<br />term to expire 12/31/78. Committee recommends approval.
<br />Mr. Wilamosky moved that Council approve the reappointment of Mr. main Seidel
<br />to Board of Building Cade Appeals, seconded by Mr. Goggin. Affirmative vote:
<br />Giesser, Goggin, Lampert, Saringer, Sharpe, West, Wilamosky. Motion carried.
<br />4) appointment of Mrs. Muriel Eian to serve on Planning Commission - term to
<br />expire 12/3I/75 (unexpired tenu) Committee recommends approval.
<br />Mr. Wilamosky moved that Council approve the appointment of Mrs. Muriel Bian to
<br />Planning Commission, term ending 12/31/75, seconded by Mrs. Sharpe. Affirmative
<br />vote: Giesser, Goggin, Lampert, Saringer, Sharpe, West, Wilamosky. Motion carried.
