Council Minutes of 9-16-75 -3- City Bngineer Childs reported followi.~tg: 1) was asked at last Council 24eeting to look into the feasibility of stor~re retention bssins far alleviating sosie of the big flooding problems especially in the northeast suction of the City. ?Ir. Gilds discussed the fact that we have a lot of stogie retention basins in the. Finance Director Gerlach reported fallowing: 1) County Budget ComrdYssion has notified the City that our award of local government funds for 1974 will be about $258,000 -this is ~ lone $27,11 that we are receiving in 19]S; 2) Ord. No. 75-211 on agape: If trail is passed that will free ~ about $24,000 of City money that the City caa~ sure use this Fall; 3) at next Council Meeting believes there will be a tax rate ordnaa!ace from the County Budget Commission that wetuld set the property tax rate at 12.1 mi11s.
