Council Minutes of 1-7-75 <br />-9- <br />Mr. Limpert discussed with Safety Director Carnahan the ripening of the west <br />driveway at the Shopping Center; asked if there has been say coaasideration <br />given to the widening of the area betwaaen the east encl west driveway. Mr. <br />Carnahan said that is future planning - it wi31 probably go along faith the <br />extension of Brookpazk. <br />Mr. Wilamosky ask~l how investigatiest is cog along xelatifre to Mrs. Fore's <br />home. Mx. Carnahan said it is still under investigation. <br />Mr. West reported on Recreation Director -The Recreation Caaatlasioo has drawn <br />up a proposed fob description end que~2.ifications and are now g~tti$g into the <br />process to advertise for bids asld this initially will be a director for the <br />Rec Center. Commission feels snd it has bases proven by the number of questions <br />and decisions that have to be a~ede as the buildiAg is going up Mutt we ought to <br />have a director there who can farttch fahat is going on seed ~asw~er questia~s, etc. <br />Mr. West cited examples. As soon as coneurrence Dg Coasaissian will submit to <br />Council. <br />Under New Business: <br />Mr. Wilamosky nominated Janet Beringer to serve ~ President Fro Tam of Council. <br />Mr. Wiismoaky moved to nominate Janet Beringer to serve as President Pro Tam, <br />seconded by Mrs. Sharpe. Affi-tive vote: Giessen, Coggin, Limpart, Sharpe, <br />feast, W1lamosky. Abstained: Beringer. Motion 'carried. <br />President O`Neill asked fox any ether nominations. There being no other <br />nominations Mrs. Saringez was declared President Pro Tam in 1975. <br />Mr. Coggin requested legislation calling on the P.U.C.O. to re.~ect any rate <br />increase requests from any utilities frhich would deem to be inflationary. <br />Will submit more detail to the Law Mrector. <br />Mr. Wilamosky scheduled a Legislation Committee meeting on January 15, 1975, <br />7:30 P.M., City Hall. <br />Mr. Giessen moved for adjournment, seconded by Mr. West. Affirmative vote: <br />Giessen, Coggin, Lin~pert, Beringer, Sharpe, West, Wilamosky. Motion carried. <br />Meeting adjourned to the call of the Clerk at 9:15 P.M. <br />Nora T.
