Council M#nut-es or 12-31-76 -6- <br />President Lampert stated moet of Council are aware that Mr. Klee, Income Tax <br />Administrator, is retiring at the end of the year, and speaking in behalf of <br />Council requested Finance Director Gerlach to convey good wishes of Council to <br />Mr. Klee for an enjoyable retirement. <br />President Lampert, speaking in behalf of Council extended Holiday Greetings to <br />everyone. <br />Mr. Wilamosky stated in recent weeks he has been receiving a number of comments <br />from the users of the Rec Complex and in light of the Law Director's Opinion with <br />respect to traffic lights on Lorain Rd. requested that the Transportation Committee <br />look into the possibility of installing a traffic signal at the Rec Complex to <br />provide easier ingress and egress. One point brought out to Mr. W#lamasky in the <br />comments he has received is that the children riding the bus to the Rec Complex <br />have no way of crossing Lorain Rd. safely at that point - these are children <br />coming from the west end of the City. President Limgert referred request into <br />Transportation Committee. <br />Mr. Boehmer moved to excuse the absence of Mr, Beaty and Mr. Goggin, seconded by <br />Mr. West. Mrs. Sharpe stated she is not adverse to excusing Mr. Goggin or any <br />Councilman but Mr. Go$gin has been absent from four Council Meetings and would like <br />to know why. President Lampert stated Mr. Goggin has changed loyment which has <br />necessitated business out of town in connection with his employment. <br />Roll Call on Motion: Affirmative vote: Boehmer, Saringer, Sharpe, West, Wilamosky. <br />Motion carried. <br />Mr. West moved for adjournment, seconded by Mr. Boehmer. Affirmative vote: <br />Boehmer, Saringer, Sharpe, West, Wilamosky. Motion carried. <br />Meeting adjourned to the call of the Clerk at 8:45 P.M. <br />Nora T.
