It
appears that for tre year 1976 we would hsva a def:.c~t of $37,000 the way the
accounting is doe', but in ordinary accounting, s~ ~:?~:e accountants advise, the
$40,000 which is in stock in the Pro Shop is considered case oc head mod, therefore,
this would offset any deficit. Mr. West stated there are several things that ned
to be ramsabarsd: the toboggan elide was not in operation and this was anticipated
to take in approxiaately $33,000 for 1976. It is projection of Kr. West that it
will take in $6,000 to $7,000. Also, the Roc Canter did not open until the middle
of November in 1975 whereas the projection made by the e~aperts origiaally had
anticipated the start up in the middle of 1975 and by the tier w! m~-y of
the paogle who would have uses tbesa facilities had ca-aittad thesselvu elsewhere
for the Winter Season. This year is diffarrent sad he would e~cpect that we are
going to be showing a profit that was projected for the so-called bass year which
in this particular case will be 1977.
Mr. Boehmer, Chairman Intro Govar~tal Rslatioas & Legislation Com~ittee sad
Public Safety, Health 6 Welfare Corwdtt+ra, reported the Safety Co~ttee met
and discussed the County Board of Health contract for 1977 sad wovl.d like to
request legislation for the Mayor to eater into as agresmmnt for seer;
2) the Legislation Committee races appx~erva]. of Mr. Janes Patton to fi11 ua+sapirad
term on Board of Building Code l~-paals, tars eadiag 12/31/77.
tq@VPcc+.c .-.-~.....-... ...
