Council Minutes of 10-1976 <br /> <br />amendment to the Rules of Council that would provide for citizea participation <br />when a motion to suspend the rules requiring three separate readings is adopted. <br />Mr. Boehmer stated he thinks Mr. Corrigan's idea is a good one, and there is no <br />reason why Council under Committee Reports would not report out on legislation <br />where suspension of rules will be requested so that the audience would know before <br />audience .participation. Mr. West agreed with Mr. Boehmer stating the Rules of <br />Council do. not have to be changed - Council under Committee Reports can notify <br />citizens -~~if~~ suspension of rules will be requested on aay legislation and Co~:i.ttee <br />Reports are given before audience participation. <br />In answer to question from a high school studsnt, President Limpert introduced <br />Members of the Administration stating their functions. <br />Mr. West moved for adjournment, seconded by Mr. Beaty. Affirmative vote: Beaty, <br />Boehmer, Goggin, Saringer, Sharpe, West, Wilamosky. Motion carried. <br />Meeting adjourned to the call of the Clerk at'~:40 P.M. <br />~ i~.c..~~ /, <br />Nora T.
