No. 75-230 requesting revision of <br />the prima facie speed limit on Halter Rd. Letter explained the asect for <br />reduction is based upon facts reveale~t by a traffic and sngiaearing investigation <br />~f road conditions and report should indicate definite reason for reducing the <br />prima facie speed licit. Letter also stated that since Walter Rrl. is within <br />North Olswted it is the rsaponsbility of the City Officials to conduct sn <br />investigation and suit report to Mr. Bameariin, District Traffic r. <br />At that time recomm~dations will be submitted by the Ohio Dept. of Tr~sportation <br />for declaration of a reasoaable and safe speed on Walter Rd. President Lmpert <br />referred sage to Mr. Beaty, Chairmen Traneportatioa Coms~ittee. Mr. Beaty <br />referred same to Safety Director Carnahan with request that report be returned <br />to the Transportation Coemittsa. <br />People addr~ts~i~, Cou~aci1: <br />Lenore Frank, 371'4 Walter Rd. addressed Council with respect to the speed limit <br />on Walter Rd. and discussed petition that wsa submitted to Council and requested <br />action be taken as soon as possible. <br />Mr. John Fairfield, 5059 Devon Drive, addressed Council regarding the number <br />of items the City is paying for on councilmanic bonds; discussed her the <br />Hospital Site was ;total amount for new equipment for Fire Dept. and <br />manpower; and recommended that the City sell the Hospital property site. <br />LEGISLATION: <br />Ordinance No. 76-26 introduced by Mr. Goggin was given its third reading. <br />An Ordinance establishing the com~+lament of the Recreation Center, affixing <br />the cosation to be paid the Nem6wers of the Staff thereof, amt establishing <br />a schedule of benefits for fulitime loyees, repealing Ordinances Na. 75-223 <br />and 75-251, as amended. Mr. Goggin ma+wed for adoption, seconded by Mr. West. <br />Affirtaativs vote: Beaty, Boetaeer, Goggin, Beringer, Sharps, West. Motion carried. <br />Ord. No. 76-26 adopted. <br /> <br />
