Council Minutes of 11-15-77 _3_ <br />Ordinance No. 77-183 introduced by Mr. Fairfield was-given its second.seading. <br />An Ordinance authorizing the Mayor to ne gotiete a lease agreement with the Greet <br />Northern Partnership for the lease of space co accomodate a senior citizen center. <br />Ordinance No. 77-184 introduced by Mr. Fairfield was given its second reading.. <br />An Ordinance authorizing the Mayor to hire the services of an architect for the <br />purposes of obtaining estimates of cost for an addition to the Community Cabin <br />which is to be used for a senior center. <br />Mr. Wilamosky moved the Finance Director furnish Fiscal Officer's Certificate. <br />in connection with Ord. No. 77-185, seconded by Mr. West. Affirmative vote: Beaty, <br />Boehmer, Saringer, Sharpe, hest, Wilamosky. Motion carried. Fiscal Officer's <br />Certificate was furnished by Finance Director. <br />Ordinance No. 77-185 was introduced by Mr. Wi~amosky and given its first reading. <br />An Ordinance authorizing the issuance of renewal notes in anticipation of the' <br />issuance of bonds for the purpose of providing funds to purchase traffic control <br />signs, and declaring an ens~rgency. <br />Ordinance No. 77-186 was introduced by Mr. Wilamosky and given its first reading. <br />An Ordinance to make appropriations and to transfer appropriations for current <br />expenses and other expenditures for the City of North Olmsted, Ohio, for the year <br />ending December 31, 1977. <br />Ordinance No. 77-187 was introduced by Mr. Boehmer and given its first reading. <br />An Ordinance authorizing the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted to file an <br />application and enter into an agreement with the Ohio I)epart~ent of Education <br />for the purpose of participating in the Federal Surplus Property Program. <br />Resolution No. 77-188 was introduced by Mr. Wilamosky and given its first reading. <br />A Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for <br />material and labor for the Porter Road Culvert in the City of North Olmsted. <br />Resolution No. 77-189 was introduced by Mr. Boehmer and given its first reading. <br />A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to sign a contract with the Cuyahoga County <br />General Health District for the year 1978, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 77-190 was introduced by Mr. Wilamosky and given its first reading. <br />A Resolution accepting the amounts and rates as determined by the Budget Commission <br />and authorizing the necessary tax levies and certifying them to the County Auditor. <br />Under Old Business: <br />Mrs. Saringer asked how we stand with respect to leaf collections. Service <br />Director Caster discussed same - stating we are running behind about a week - <br />this due to snow and machines freezing up, etc. <br />Mrs. Saringer discussed barricades between Marion and Clifford. Service Director <br />Caster thinks it may be the gas company relocating lines. <br />Mr. West asked Service Director Caster if the tree planting has started and if he <br />has a better list. Service Director Caster presented four copies of the list to <br />Mr. West. The tree planting has not started yet. President Limpert requested <br />that each Member of Council receive a copy of the list of trees. <br /> <br />
