Council Minutes of 9-20-77 -LZ- <br />Ordinance No. 77-169 was introduced by Mrs..Saxtager ~aad given-ifi~._fixRx--reading. <br />An Ordinance to enact new Chapter S35 of the Gs~aral Offenses Code of the Codified <br />Ordinances of the City of North Ols~stad restating to raise and the control thereof. <br />President Limpert referred saa-e into 8>3virosmental Control CorNaittee. <br />Under Old Business: <br />Mr. Wilamosky referred to legislation passed sometime ago by CouQCil authorizing <br />the Mayor to ester into an agrse~osat with the City of Westlslue rs~srdi>ag the tie- <br />ing in of l93 homes: asked if the City of I~,srth 03.msted and the City of Westlake <br />finalized that agreement and whae, rasa it fiesizesd. Ma~ror Christaan stated it was <br />finalized shortly after the legislation preps approved: the City of Westlake has <br />signed the agreement. Mr. Wilsrsosky referreM to error in ne~rsps~sr regarding <br />the charge that will be levied agairsst the users using the facility: it is not <br />$7.50 as reported. The Mayor stated it is X13. per thousand cubic feet emd they <br />also pay the same tap-in chargers that we pay. Mr. Wilamosky stated he wanted this <br />clarified so people are not confused by the error in the newspaper. <br />Mr. Beaty asked when the beginning data on I-480 has been moved up to. Mayor <br />Christman stated he thinks it bass been moved up about 9 months but Mr. Rrall <br />estimates 2 1/2 months. The estfaated flare for a first contract is sometime in <br />February - the ane contract each month thereafter: advertise far contracts <br />around December; bids around the end of Jaauarq, letting the first one around <br />the end of February. <br />Mr. Beaty asked what are we working with on a date for the Columiaia Road <br />relocation. Mayor Christman stated be contacted the State and he uadexstands <br />they have a completion date of October 3Dth. <br />Mr, Wilamosky discussed with the Mayor the State letting bids on I-480 in February. <br />President Limpert referred to the two houepss that are up on ,jacks which he brought <br />up at last Council feting and asked Safety Director Koharik status of same. <br />Safety Director Roharik stated we have fotmd out that we are going to get no action <br />from the State so he has directed the Building Commissioner to issue condemnation <br />notices and we are following the proper procedure. <br />Mrs. Saringer referred to the shoernalcer shop on Lorain Rd. and was informed that <br />it is dawn now. <br />Under New Business: <br />Mr. Beaty stated he would like the B.Z.D. Committee to review the wap minor <br />subdivisions of possibly S or less are handled: has talked to the Eaginecer and <br />the Law Director about this: would like to discuss possibly changing the way we <br />handle the same and requested the Engineer and Law Director to be at the meeting <br />where this is discussed. <br />Mr. West moved for adjournment, seconded by Mr. Boehmer. Affirmative vote: Beaty, <br />Boehmer, Fairfield, Saringer, Sharpe, West, Wilamosky. Motion carried. <br />Meeting adjourned to the call of the Clark at •29 P.M. <br />Nora T.
